I was in conversation in our local pub the other day,and it came up about Black soldiers in the british army.Some one said that there was a few black soldiers but when it came to officers no-one seemed to remember seeing any black officers.I am sure their must be some,but how many ,are they under represented and what is the highest rank atained by a black person?

We live in a semi-detached house, divided into two seperate flats, privately owned. The downstairs owner defaults on many payments credit cards, council tax, etc. (we see the red letters). We have asked her to put flat 'A' on her post but she refuses, which in turn implies that she owns the whole property, which she does not. How do we make sure she can't get us on any bad credit lists in the U.K.

The recruiter promised her a bunch of stuff he can't deliver...He also promised another student a bonus if he would pressure her into signing... Then he tricked her into signing 8 year papers! She's really scared and doesn't want to go!!! She's supposed to report Aug 28... PLEASE HELP US

Look into Santorums (excuse spelling) interview yesterday on Fox. Obviously, the neo-con bias against veterans (especially Viet Nam Vets), is showing as usual. But, then again, there will be a back-lash by us libs, by voting for more Democrats that are vets in congress.

If the person is accused of a low-medium white collar crime, had more than 35 letters vouching for him that he is not a flight risk (from reputable people- including a retired police commisioner), has never even applied for a passport, has been generous to society during many tragedies- including 9-11, and has 2 very small children at home- including a 7 month old baby?

General Georges Sada (the highest ranking Iraqi Air Force General has published a book (available) that tell who, where, how and when the WMD's were transported to Syria. (Oh, my, that's SOO unexpected!!)
However, it's an "inconvenient lie" for Dems and others throughout the world, to recognize the truth. Isn't that an unconscionable political lie?

Why don't liberals understand how infuriating they can be? Wasn't there a false attribution of a Winston Churchill quote that said "If you aren't liberal at 25 you have no heart, if you aren't conservative by the time you are 35 you have no brain? I agree with this quote! Also the common quote "A liberal is someone who is so openminded their brain fell out." How can we get through to them?

I'm being serious. I'm not saying Cheney WILL be impeached, but if the VP is impeached, is the Speaker then the next in line, as s/he would be if the President and VP were to die, or does the President have to appoint a new VP?

It's never happened, to my knowledge, but I was wondering if anyone knows how this would work. (Forget party lines, please, and just answer the question. Pretend it isn't Cheney/Bush/Pelosi and just think in terms of their offices, not the people currently occupying them.)
