As you well must know, outgoing Presidents do their pardoning at the conclusion of their term in office and so, I believe Libby may be one of them of those chosen by Bush before he departs in 2009.

I guarantee that President Bush will pardon Scooter Libby on his way out of office. He hasn't had a joy ride presidency but he still would like a shot to do something and pardoning him would severly jeopardize his chances and lock him as a lame duck president. That being said, the president will not allow Libby to serve a day in prison. He will be on the Presidents list of exit-pardons.

The appeals procedure will be stretched out to the end of 2008. Just in time for Bush to pardon him as he leaves office, with no sanctions possible from congress. Libby will never serve a day in jail, and will be well paid for his silence on the involvement of Cheney in the Plame affair.

Libby, most likely, will not serve a day in prison. If he is not pardoned, he will go home to Israel. Giuliani for president? I think not.

How do you know if Giuliani will be President in 2008? You know, there are a lot of other candidates who will also be running such as Sen. John McCain. When asking this question, you have to think outside the box. IF Giuliani becomes President in '08, will he pardon anyone? What if he's not President? Those are the questions you will have to figure out.

That is a possibility. Kind of like when Clinton pardoned the guy who evaded hundreds of thousands of dollars in Federal tax and was hiding in Switzerland until Clinton pardoned him. Of course the guy was very well connected in Democratic politics.

Whether or not, it doesn't depend on that. It depends solely on the voters; what they want, they get. That's how a democracy works.
