The moment I wake-up.. . Before I put-on my make-up
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair now, and wonderin what dress to-wear now
I say a little prayer for you
Forever and ever you'll stay in my heart and I'll love you
Forever and ever we never will part and how I love you
Together. . forever. . that's how it must be
To live without you would only mean heartbreak for meeeee

I run for the bus dear, while riding I think-of us dear
And I say a little prayer for you
At work I just take time. . . and all through my coff-ee break-time
I say a little prayer for you . . . . . . . . .

Well, that's my idea. . . . What's yours ??

this is not a political argument. people think that since al gore made a movie, then its a liberal movement. therefore if you are a conservative, you must reject global warming and do nothing about it. do you people not understand that EVERYBODY benefits if we do something to cut down on emissions? cleaning up our emissions means less smog in our cities. cutting down on power usage SAVES YOU MONEY! developing alternative fuel for cars reduces our dependency on foreign oil (something republicans have long pushed for.) less emissions=less pollution=cleaner air. are you really willing to just sit back and do nothing just because a liberal made a movie about it? even if global warming is false, why not take advantage of all the other benefits that changing our lifestyles will give us?

According to the latest polls 10% of Americans think the Iraq Civil War is going better. 46% think it's getting worse and 41% think it is staying the same. 3% didn't care. So are you part of the 10% who think it's going good or are you part of the 87% who think it is the same or worse.

I often wonder what kind of support Man-Made Global Warming advocates would provide if their lead man was a Conservative.

I bet that if George Bush had produced "An Inconvenient Truth", Democrats would be in their back yards right now burning tires.

Thoughts?

I've been to America and most people are friendly and polite. But, on here, they mock the rest of the world.
America wasn't the only nation that defeated the Germans in both world wars.
They didn't kick 'England's' ***. It was Britain that lost, and considering they controlled 1/4 of the planet and only really suffered in the last year or so, it wasn't that bad.
Who won the war of 1812 is still disputed.
America lost in Vietnam and Somalia. If they don't learn from the British, they will lose in Iraq.
Britain and America have enemies that wish to erradicate them all and need to work together.

Who determined that it was the other way around? Why? If its a direct correlation, who is to say the warming isn't causing the CO2?

Examples: warmer climates provides for healthier ocean populations. This increase in the number of fish in the sea creates more CO2

(this isn't a real suggestion, I'm just trying to show how there are other possibilities out there)

You can base you answer on how smart you think these people are, what influence they have, popularity, whatever.

Or if you would like to be more positive, put them in the order of those that have promoted rational political thought. (Just be sure to tell me the difference! It might not be so obvious!)

When my ex boyfriend and I started dating, he got a 1 year memebership to a gym in our area. Since I went with him, he put me on the membership as a spouse. He paid for the membership and all the contract and payments are in his name; I was only on the contracts as the spouse. That was in Sept 2005. We broke up in October of 2006. He called me today (2007) stating that the gym payments when in default and on his credit report and I owed him for half the payment. I never knew anything about the payments nor if he was still paying on it because he NEVER mentioned it. Now that we have broke up and we both have moved on, he is trying to come back in my life attempting to charge me for things he did for me when we were dating. He also wants to take me to small claims court for $100 of the defaulted gym payment. I didn't even know I owed anything. Am I liable for paying this or anything he is charging me for while we were dating?
