Should all immigrants be medically screened and only allowed access into our society, if they are free from infections? Aids, soaking up most of our funding under NHS?

Yes to your question and all of its subsections. UK is slowly waking up to the fact that it is not lack of funding which is crippling the NHS. It is being over burdened by people coming into UK, many illegally, who are receiving free treatment on the NHS at our expense.

EU citizens have a right to use the NHS in the same way that we have a right to use EU health services when we go on holiday to Europe. No problem there then.

The problem is people coming in from outside the EU.

We need to put in place very strict rules about who gets to use NHS services. This means that no one gets any NHS service until they have paid in for at least two [2] years via National Insurance contributions. No free anything to anyone who has not paid- no matter what.

Let's get on the case right now. Kick this government out and elect a gov which will do our bidding. Do it.

First of all, the government is not in control of the illegal situation and the only way the could be in control is by closing our border and port and then deport the illegal aliens and have them come in to the USA legally with control if we need them or for other humanitarians reasons. But to give them amnesty just to comply with the big interest of the nation and the claims of La Raza, ULAC, and other organization that only worry about how to gain power with bringing more Hispanics here to the USA with out thinking about the negative consequences of their action is crazy and unpatriotic. They don't care about our country a bit. How could you screen illegals when you don't know where they are and beside the organizations that defend them will be against it. The best is to deport them and start new..

I understand some of them come from nightmare countries but there is no more room in the inn here. Time to bolt the front and back door of our country and tell them to try elsewhere

For the do gooder attitude people that were rapidly sending this country to the dogs before the government woke up, how many immigrants do you let live with you for free? You Paying for everything they wanted and needed, and while you are going broke doing it you say you would never stop taking them in? Coffee?, wake up?, smell?, Get it?

Has the half wit racist who says the problems of the NHS ever been to a British hospital?half the staff are immigrants. As for comments like there is no more room at the inn no one said that when 5 million Commonwealth and empire citizens joined up to defend their mother country in 1939 and were afterwards told there would always be a place for them.

Yes, they should certainly be screened for that, but in any event, shouldn't be allowed in unless there is an economic (genuine one) need for their skills, and the public services can cope. I am talking about a return to the old immigration screening that we always had.

It really doesn't matter any more, the UK is now so fragmented into so many different races and religions that nobody gives a stuff. Oh, the government is not in control btw.

No they shouldn't. they shouldn't attempt to prohibit McDs from putting toys in any youngster's food, they shouldn't tax non-meals regimen soda pop (because of the fact all of us be attentive to Aspertane is somewhat stable for you too). There are lots & a lot of undesirable issues people do. the place could it end?

this question absolutely enrages me. immigrants are not animals. you cannot group these human beings into your pathetic opinions. you say "only allowed access into our society". they are not dogs that are banned from using certain local areas. these people are just like you and me. human, with feelings and thoughts and opinions of their own.

it is disgusting the way you talk about immigrants. shame on you for being so ridiculously narrow minded. if you have children, i hope to god that you do not inflict your uneducated points of view on them. let them decide for themselves and maybe they'll grow up to be a better person than you are.

shame on you

Yes & Yes only as long as they foot their own screening costs as there is already too much strain on what's left of our NHS
