The moment I wake-up.. . Before I put-on my make-up
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair now, and wonderin what dress to-wear now
I say a little prayer for you
Forever and ever you'll stay in my heart and I'll love you
Forever and ever we never will part and how I love you
Together. . forever. . that's how it must be
To live without you would only mean heartbreak for meeeee

I run for the bus dear, while riding I think-of us dear
And I say a little prayer for you
At work I just take time. . . and all through my coff-ee break-time
I say a little prayer for you . . . . . . . . .

Well, that's my idea. . . . What's yours ??

I LOVE that song! I understand your point. I allow e-mails and I am thinking of changing that because people on this Y/A does e-mail me with vulgarity. They ask for others opinions and so we give it and if they don't like it, they turn on us! Now how immatured and ridiculous it that! Alot of people abuse this site and I say Yahoo made this site for constructive reasons only. How did it get to be this way?! The best solution is we should all stick to the questions that will make our life easier and or better, and not ask prejudice, hateful questions. I did learn something on this website . There's alot of prejudice people out there and a lot that hates. The good thing about it is it made me to be much more alert when I'm out & about in the "real world". Isn't it sad that nowadays we have to watch out for our own backs. C'mon Yahoo people, "Give a little love and it all comes back to you." HAVE A NICE DAY!

People should take a step back and realize that Yahoo politics is only a past time. Realize that it is not really a good way to vent hatred or get rid of it. Hate eats a person up on the inside. It is impossible to get in touch with our spirtuality and hate at the same time.

Take a break from it and take an inventory of what makes you hate. You may be transferring your hate from real problems that you need to find a solution for.

Take a deep breath and remind yourself of the good things in your life.

It's just not worth it to hate that much.

Well, easier said than done. I am all for prayer though.

Unfortunately, only about half the people in this Y*A category love the give and take of ideas and solutions required in politics. The other half are fearful and unhappy souls who feel safe to vent on this website. The sad part is that when they aren't on the computer, they are still unhappy, fearful souls. Which brings us back to the power of prayer. Praise Jesus.......

There are a lot of factors.

A few of them.
A lot of people here are young and think being abusive is cool or whatever they call it these days.
The professional trolls who just like stirring things up.
The bigots for whatever cause. They believe in their cause but can't tell you why because they are not bright enough or don't really understand the issues so they abuse anyone who disagrees with them.

Each one has a different solution. I don't think any would work for all the problems. Unfortunately the Internet encourages this kind of behavior as it is anonymous.

People are inherently bad and the internet is a portal for them to release their meanness on others without their identities being revealed. Therefore, many people are releasing on their site, thus the anger portrayal. Still others are close-minded and believe they are right about everything and there is no one or no conflicting view points that can change their mind or even be considered a rational thought. Not to mention those people that over-simplify everything like if you aren't pro-war you are pro-Al Qaeda.

This man:

"The pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats. But I've got news for them too. We worship an awesome God in the Blue States, and we don't like federal agents poking around in our libraries in the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States and yes, we got some gay friends in the Red States. There are patriots who opposed the war in Iraq and patriots who supported the war in Iraq. We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America."

I wish your solution would work but it is just a bandaid.

There is only one solution. The people who hate are afraid. They need to tackle their fears head on and deal with them. I am fortunate enough to have been able to do that in the past year, and it is great to be free of worry and hate. Nothing really bothers me and I enjoy life so much more.

My idea is just to ignore it. Anyone who comes on here to spill all their hatred and rants have no self esteem and no life. This goes for both parties. The name calling and the bagging on the president just shows how immature and naive people are. Just ignore it and it will go away like a bad habit.

I'm either going to care less, or answer less often.
I'm just amazed at the simple historical ignorance that's displayed here.
I suppose a small prayer wouldn't hurt either.
