i checked my record today at the courthouse and my retail theft charge was dispositioned as a "city ordinance violation" but not as a misdeamenor. when filling out my application for security clearance it asks if i'd had any misdeamenors or felonies. i don't know if i should go ahead and check yes or forget about filling out the application.

Because reading many of your replies, I get the feeling that you cannot differentiate between the two. Your answers are for the large part more anti-Semitic then anti-Israeli. If you hate the Jews why hide it behind anti-Israel rhetoric and not just come out and admit to the fact.

i moved from tennessee to california and i was driving my husband car when this police officer stopped me for having tinted windows, he asked for my driver license(i had it with me) he went back to the police car and he gave me a ticket. I was surprised that he impounded my car while I had two baby's and two other people. And im reffering to my question, that if it is legal or possible for a police officer impound your car when having an out of state driver license(that is current by the way).

I haven't heard from my boyfriend in just over 2 weeks. He is stationed in Ramadi. How often should I expect to hear from him? When should I start to worry. I check the casualty reports frequently, just in case. When he was at his first stop, Kuwait, I got emails all the time and calls, but it has dropped off some. We didn't have a fight or anything, so I know it's not anything like that. I think I just need to understand what it is like and what real level of expectations I should have.

murder for the 1979 slayings of 4 people. While on death row he became a cause celebre for the Hollywood elites and other liberals, they wanted Gov. Schwarzenegger to pardon him. He didn't.
Here's my question: Why is it that the very same people who wanted a pardon for a vicious killer go spastic at the thought of Bush pardoning Scooter Libby?

We have already conducted a land registry search and the office copies state that the land on which the tree stands was registered to a person over 70 years ago. It appears that this person may have been a property developer who subsequently sold the land now belonging to ourselves and our neighbours. The land where this particular tree stands, although registered, is subject to rights of way, mainly for access to the back of properties etc. Because of the location of the tree, on the edge of a riverbank, it forms part of land which has never been maintained by either ourselves, neighbours, or previous owners. We have already established that it is not the responsibility of the Environment Agency. It is almost certain that the original registered landowner has since passed away and the land has long been forgotten. Is there any way we can pass on responsibility to anyone else or will it simply be acquired to us due to the presumed right of way that now exists?

The leftist Libby witch hunt is one for the history books. Weak-kneed journalists hunted down by Stalinist-jack boot leftists who laughed at the previous privileges of the press.

Being leftists themselves, the fat pathetic jounalists gave up their sources, with a lot of spin and excuses to explain themselves.

So Libby (who?) is now a convicted felon, for what, no one can clearly explain.

Ok, now the the left has trampled upon this area of the law, which previously was still untested and with which prosecutors had previously taken a "hands off" approach, what are the ramifications?

Well, would "deep throat", a high level govt official, have said a word if he didnt think his identitiy would be protected religiously? No f**g way. No way. From now on, only the dumbest of the low level insiders will be stupid enough to leek anything important. Of course, it goes without saying that anyone, from now on, who gives anything to TIME magazine should be committed to an institution.

I swore out a warrant for a $75 bad check over ten years ago. Well, turns out the guy had no idea and wants to pay me $100. Fair enough, I guess. So, can I just call the police? Or do I need to call a judge? The D.A.?
