More Incentives for Alternative Fueled Vehicles

Incentives for Deployment of Energy Efficiency
Devices for Home & Business

Require All Federal Office Buildings (8,000 total) to Become Green Buildings

Make Federal Government Auto Fleet (60,000 vehicle purchases per year) a Model of Energy Efficiency

These are some of the proposals Congress is looking at. The first two will give tax cuts to businesses and individuals, for investments that will save them money and cut their energy use in the long run. The second two, will in the long run save the Federal government money. All four proposals would stimulate a market for energy efficient devices, buildings and vehicles. Why would anyone object to this?

Why are they protected when convicted and put in segregated cells/detention centers?

Shouldn't they be put in general population and left to deal with the crimes they committed? Why do they receive special treatment even though they are perpetrators of horrible crimes against kids?

The George Bush impeachment movement has arrived, just in time for the March 17 rally at the Pentagon. Here’s the best part! You don’t have to travel all the way to D.C. to perform your Patriotic Duty to America. There will be hundreds of impeachment protest happening across the Nation. Los Angeles is having a massive protest Saturday, March 17th 2007 at Noon.

These are just a few of the locations....
To find a location nearest you..Google. ‘United for Peace : Events’

I support our troops 100% and it’s time to bring them home!!!

As Americans it is time to make our stand to protect the Constitution and Fundamentals of what this Great Country was founded on. We can Bring George Bush to justice just like Scooter Libby.

Thank you...together we can make a difference... happy protesting

So I read a lot of book like STANGER TO MYSELF and other accounts by veterans who admit that they lose their innocence while at war. Reading thier diaries I watch them explore or develope a dark and horrible essence. So I wonder, how is it that once you know how ugly and repulsive life can be (or in some cases how repulsive you can be) how do you go home and hug children and love anyone again ? Any books on this very subject ?

i personally am not american, but i dont think its fair when so many people say nothing but bad comments about america (including the people of america). i do understand that they do screw up some times but compaire that to what other superpowers have done i think you find they are rather enocent. muslims especially have very bad opinion of america even though every single musilm country in the world depends on america one way or another. i do also know that the people of america are very arogant but so is every one else when they have achived a lot. (i personally am against the arrogant bet it ruins the beauty in achivement).

I know I am in the process of being scammed. It's almost a textbook scam. I have an item listed on CraigsList and I get an email saying he is willing to buy the item from me. He asked me for my address because he wants to use a USPS online money order- he tells me he will explain to me how it works. He is in Kenosha, WI but the item is going to be shipped to GA, but he already has his own FedEx shipping account. He has not sent me any real info about contacting him- other than an the email address. The last response I sent went like this- "Ok, sounds good. How does the online money order work? JP" This is where it stands. I want to screw with this guy or better yet get him busted, what should I do next?

Since when did children (or parents) become a protected class?

I'm the owner of a home converted into three individual units. The house is old and the walls are thin, and the tenants can hear a lot of what goes on in the other units--specifically kids running around, crying, etc.

Why can I not choose to deny housing to families on this property? It's not unreasonable to do so, given the conditions there. The other tenants (both childless couples) should not have to be subjected to stomping, running, jumping, crying, screaming, etc.

Can anyone explain when did kids/parents become a protected class, is there any way around this, are state laws different, etc.? Thank you!

I am a Liberal Democrat...White, Anglo Saxon, American of French English descent. I have lived in Texas for 61 years. I was born here. About 5 years ago I began working in the construction industry . I live on a property owned by a dear friend. It is about 70% occupied by Hispanics. There was a problem with their parking their cars and blocking the driveway. I speak some Spanish, so I said to one of them, "No pone aqui, por favor." He yelled at me, "You don't speak our Spanish. You are white trash and you can't tell us what to do." I called the police so that I could gain entry to the parking lot, and called my friend, the landlord. They were forced to move their cars, and now they have been forced to move out. However it caused me to think about the mentality behind such a response. I went to the website, http://www.sq.4mg.com/NationIQ.htm. and found out the IQ's of a large number of nations on our planet. Do you agree with me that this may be part of the immigration problem?

If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you. You shall stone him to death, because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. And all Israel, hearing of this, shall fear and never do such evil as this in your midst. (Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB)

Some of you post passages out of the Koran to prove Islam is a violent religion that tolerates no other.

Do you ever think muslims may be looking at biblical passages like this one and coming to the same conclusions about christians?

I'm just wondering... if a police officer arrests someone are they automatically allowed to search them? What about their car? I'm pretty sure if you arrest someone for a driving-related crime you're allowed to search their car, but what if you arrest them for something else (eg: drug possession) and they're in their car or their car is nearby? Are you allowed to search it? What about their house?
I'd really like sources but i'd like any help I can get!
Thanks! =)
