No just being a strong individual. Though if these violation of rights are petty, give teachers some slack. There job it hard enough dealing with 30+ students. Not insane though.

I say no, as long as you do it with respect for the fact that he or she is your teacher. Also, I would make that conditional with the stipulation that it must indeed violate your rights. Many nowadays are extremely generous with what they term their "rights". For example, freedom of speech was not intended to, nor does it, give you the "right" to drive around town with enormous vinyl letters on the back window that say F*** You. That is just one example that comes to mind.

no. thats good that you're telling people what you think, and speaking up for yourself. just dont get carried away. you have to know what to say, and when. it hard to do at first, but after lots of practicing (like holding yourself back when you really want to say something) will help.
personally, i am a lot like you. i tell people when they've done something that i dont like. i got into a lot of trouble last year with my 6th grade teacher doing that....dont ask. :)

im the same way, lol. its way better to be able to stick up for yourself now rather than be pushed around at 30. as for the insanity- life is insanity and there's no such thing as normal and sane.

Why would this be considered insane?. Unless the way you express your opinions or get violent. If so, maybe anger management is in line for you. THINK ABOUT IT!.
GOD BLESS/GOOD LUCK!!

as long as you do it diplomatically and maturely there's nothing wrong. But if you stab the teacher and start chanting satanic rituals I would say you are insane.
