I think he should have a broom shoved up his a$$, be wrapped in a plastic bag and buried alive - so he can feel what she felt as she died slowly.

No I'm not against the death penalty for this guy, but I do think that certain members of our government should be joining him at the gallows for allowing this kind of thing to happen.

It's a complete crime that our criminal justice system is so weak.
Sex offenders and other violent criminals should not be given second chances, they should get life in prison or death for the FIRST offense, period.
We have this sick system in the USA in which we keep giving people like this second and third chances after they have already proven themselves to be a threat to good people in society.
People act like it's inhuman not to give a "second chance" to these criminals, but I ask you why should a good person like Jessica Lunsford have to take on the risk allowing these criminals to walk free. Good citizens that have done no violent crimes should be protected and be the priority. I don't care if it's possible that 1% of them could improve themselves... too bad for them. They are responsible for choosing the wrong path in the first place, and if it's choosing between their rights to improve themselves or subjecting people like Jessica to danger, they should be the ones to suffer.

I think the main reason the government is allowing these criminals to roam the street is financial, since they don't want to pay to keep them in jail. This is totally criminal though. If the government doesn't want to pay to keep them in jail, then execute them OR stop giving criminal cable TV and other "entertainment" and make them work in prison factories so the government makes a profit from them.
Hopefully more people will see how crazy this system is, and demand change.

Due to circumstances beyond my control we retired "old sparky" the electric chair.Something about some people getting up set because the convicted murders were catching fire and exploding [ Awe to bad ] . So the REPEATE offender who was CONVICTED of going into Marks house in the night and taking his precious daughter raping her for 3 days and burying her alive while there were 4 other adults in a single wide trailer [ who claim to know nothing] will be given a lethal injection. I think Mark Lunsford is a much bigger person than I could ever be ! My heart goes out to him and my prayers ! Please make sure your state passes Jessica's law to keep repeate offenders locked away from our children. Maybe it is not their fault they are sick But It Is NOT our fault either!

I say Florida's old Sam, the electric chair, should do the job nicely, at half power, for a really long time. But first I think he should be tossed into the general population for a few days and then buried alive.

Actually I believe that Jessica's dad should be allowed a few moments alone with that old murdering perv before the state takes him away.

I'm very uncomfortable with the death penalty except in very heinous cases like this. He raped the poor little girl and buried her alive. I'm never happy or cheer when these people get the death penalty and are executed. All I feel is sadness that this kind of evil exists in the world and I feel great sympathy for the victims and their loved ones.

He needs to get the death penalty. He is a sick pervert, and yes, I also cried reading about it. She was a little girl, and what he did...it just makes me sick to my stomach. It makes me even sicker (if possible) to read that he had shown this behavior before and nothing was really done about it. I have a lot of respect for her dad, b/c I can't say what I would have done if I had been in that room and seen that scum trying to act all oblivious when he knows exactly what he did to an innocent child.

People don't understand that when a person is that sick and twisted to do that to a little girl (or to do what the guy in Michigan did to his wife) life in prison won't change them or make them feel remorseful. Those people have food, shelter, and the ability to live pretty much with no worries for all their lives, while the families of those they killed will live with that horror for the rest of their lives.
Kill the a$$hole.

Welcome to Florida...

Where the State bird is the flying cockroach.
and the State Animal is the Sex offender.

I agree... Most offenders who give in to the urge to do that to a child will always do it. It is a disease that is incurable because it effects children against their will, leaving them psychologically damaged with the urge to do it to others, perpetuating the disease By Proxy so...

I say we therefore... lock him in a large vat of oil from the neck down and leave him alone in a damp cave for a year or so to cure... literally!

Till he slides off the bone while still alive... Then we kill him by feeding him to a pack of dogs while his brain stem is still attached!

i'm specific that the estimated consequence befell...i've got self assurance in an eye fixed for an eye fixed...definite, he could be positioned to death, buried alive. He grew to become into of unfastened concepts, understanding that he grew to become into with the little female for the time of from her domicile for various days to boot. such as you, if there's a doubt approximately something we would desire to continually no longer take a existence, yet this grew to become into in basic terms too horrific and he grew to become into easily got here upon responsible.

No! Fry the creep! Sex offenders are NOT rehabitable, and this man buried the child alive. He knew what he was doing. If he had just molested her, that's bad enough, but killing her the way he did, with her clutching that stuffed animal, he deserves to die. Why should we pay for him to live? I think they should bury him alive in two trash bags, just like he killed her.
