I have a friend who has a child with a rather irrational woman. She told him the baby was his but when they broke up, she said she lied about the baby being his. He would like a test to be done but she refuses. What are his rights?

"The politics of anything goes". There are those who want to divide Americans. Gay and not gay. Black and White. Red and Blue States. It will not happen according to Obama. It will not work.
His book "The Audacity of Hope" was great.
Funny how Republicans who got beat real bad in November still see there old worn out policys working. There are even some so stupid as to think Democrats are the "lame Ducks" not the Republicans.

Do people really expect corporations to all of a sudden play fair? No monopolies (or oligopolies) would rule and you, the consumer, would not get the lower price because of competition, because one company would be raping you for you're worth because they're the only ones who provide water and have bought out everyone else!

Ok, maybe this is just me being British, but since when did America protect us from anything? According to the right wing lunatics from the Forbes show, or whatever its called, Americas military is wasting billions defendign Europe. Is this just another case of Americans pushing the blame towards other countries, as Obama just metnioned in his rather excellent speech?

Jesus, i think im gonna change the channel. Apparently, 'socialist healthcare' ie, national health services, result in inefficiencies and mass death. Well excuse us for not letting the poor starve to death, i seemed to miss the part where healthcare becme a commodity, and not a Human Right.

A lot of people think that atheists are less trustworthy because they lack a moral compass, and that a persident should be a person of faith. On the other hand even though they are people of faith, many people distrust Muslims. I wouldn't have a problem voting for either as long as they were the most qualified.

I'm thinking anywhere from 15 years minimum to 20 years maximum.Though I've never been in the military,I first tried to get in when I was 17,back in 1984.I continue to think, had I been accepted,if I'd put twenty years in unscathed I could've retired 3 years ago-at the age of 37!!!!!!!!!!!

Appointing, enacting, and impeaching?
Or. Purpose, powers, and procedures?
Or. Separation, checks and balances?
Or. Delegated, reserved, and prohibited?

Oh there is no one to vote for. All the candidates suck. I dont have time to vote.
I am protesting by not casting my vote.
But Brooock Broooooock booock all year long, protest all year long.
Yet when it comes time to actually voice an opinion, the Democrats (and ohters) are so lazy they dont even vote.
Why ?

"I don't regret giving the President the authority because at the time it was in the context of weapons of mass destruction, grave threats to the United States, and clearly, Saddam Hussein had been a real problem for the international community for more than a decade."

-- Larry King Live April 20, 2004"I said that we should not go to war unless we have allies, so he took the authority that I and others gave him, and he misused it. And I regret that deeply."

Issues of major importance always seem to be ignored during election time. Issues like the trade deficit, run away government spending, the declining dollar on the international exchange market, the middle-east policy all lose importance as politicians debate red herring issues like abortion and gay marriage to draw voters.
A red herring issue requires little if any knowledge, just a personal opinion. Will the American voter ever require some substance in a political debate or election?

" I was one who supported giving President Bush the authority, if necessary, to use force against Saddam Hussein. I believe that that was the right vote."

- December 15, 2003 before the Council on Foreign Relations

"The consensus was the same, from the Clinton Administration to the Bush Administration. It was the same intelligence belief that our allies and friends around the world shared about weapons of mass destruction."

–In response to a question from Larry King that asked if she was “fooled” about Saddam’s possession of WMD, April 20, 2004
