FYI...I was joking of course, but did Bush or Clinton have any real foreign policy when they took office? We can't have it both ways...people say they want a Washington outsider, but when one runs they complain that they have no experience.

Give up the great gig she has with so much personal freedom, so much ability to do as she pleases and support causes she really believes in for a miserable job of the president, with constant sniping and back-stabbing and hate and bile and the awful weight of the responsibility, and being forced into positions and policies and actions you don't necessarily agree with based on political and other concerns?
What sane person would make that change?

If you look at the men who have held the office, it ages them. They go grey, get wrinkled. You can visibly see the effects of the job on the men who have it. I don't think she wants that. Then, instead of the Enquirer harassing her endlessly about her weight, it will be about how much botox she got, and whether she dyes her hair. Besides, it's more fun to sit on the couch for 2 hours a day.

Because she would be taking a massive pay cut. And folks like her would rather be behind the scenes pulling the strings rather than exposing themselves in the glaring lights of the political stage.

She couldn't afford the pay cut. right now she can control the press, she couldn't as a politician. It would get vicious and ugly. Besides that, the only credential she has is that of a talk show host.

That would be a BIG pay cut for her. I love Oprah but I wouldn't want her running our country. She is perfect right where she is.
