Sailing in the greek islands a few years ago we stopped at Messalonghi, There is an incredible collection of warplanes and missile launchers just by the harbour, you can check this out by looking on Google Earth, Messalonghi is on the mainland on the western coast. caught a few days ago and our court date isnt until next month. I am extremly ashamed of what we did. But what I'm wondering is what will happen when we go to court? Ive never been in trouble before this is my first offense ,also what i took was less than $100 and I really have no idea what to expect when I go to court. I was reading some other questions on here about shoplifting and I read somewhere that I could ask the prosecutor to "continue without a finding" basically meaning that we make an agreement never to steal again and stick to that agreement over a specific time period that they could let this go and remove it from my record...does anyone know if that is true? what are some other possible outcomes, would it be better to get a lawyer? I know i will have to pay for the merchandise that i took, and a possible fine on top of that, i go to school full time and therefore i do not work so can i ask to do community service instead of paying a fine? any info. is appreciated. thanks

Why does this dilemna seem so incredulous to me? Anna conceived her daughter with only one man. This man is her father. This baby is being pawned and abused by a legal system which is not giving her the opportyunity to truly bond with anyone. Whoever's spern madse this child is the father. The baby should be the #1 priority. What is happening now reminds me of Soloman when he threatened to split the baby in half when the true mother spoke up in order to save her child. We need to really determine who truly cares and wants to raise this child and ignore the monetary benefits. If this child cann ot be loved simply for who she is she should be adopted out to a loving home.

The law must get it's priorities straignt. I don't know about Birkhead but I have a lots of doubts about Stern who knew and enabled Nicole and her son in the use of drugs. To me, this makes him an unfit father, regardless of paternity.

I need to write an argument on the Pro and Con of our spending on defense (homeland, iraq, patriot, etc).

If you could give me specific websites or books to look into on the history of our spending that would be fantastic.

I am not really looking for opinions seeing as how I cannot use them in my essay. But I guess anything will help, so if you have maybe a unique idea or a way of thinking that few people would see, please do post (very confusing, sorry, not really sure how to put it)

I ordered a laptop (my third laptop in a year and a half) on October 25th at noon.

An hour later, I hear the news that Dell was going to give free Vista upgrades for orders placed the following day (a mere 12 hours!)

I called Dell to cancel the order, so I could place the order again the following day (and get the free upgrade). The CSR said they couldn't cancel, but for the inconvenience they'd give it to me for free. I'd just have to call back when Vista was available.

I have called back every time Vista was expected to come out, and each time was initially told I bought the laptop too early. But two reps (and i have this in writing) said they would give it to me for free.

Now that Vista's available, Dell is refusing to give me the free upgrade (as promised in writing).

Any suggestions on how or who to report this to?

Yes, this may seem petty to some, but I'm going to pursue this on the principle of it. Dell should be held accountable.
