Would Jesus approve of the "War on Terror"?

I mean would Jesus justify us being there. I know how he would feel about terrorists that kill people... how would he feel about Bush sending our troops to Iraq to fight a war for oil?

Jesus would come back in the middle east, considering that's where he was from originally, and not say anything about George Bush because he would be killed by a suicide bomber or US missle before he turned 5.

Obviously you are as stupid as the question because if we were going to war for oil we would have gone to South America. And I would not worry but what Jesus would say about W. I think he would want to know why the Jews are in Israel since they supposed to be wandering the earth

well it would probably go like this:
I know I said "turn the other cheek", but....Saddam had it coming anyway, if it wasn't you it was gonna be me, so you saved me alot of time and energy on that one.
But I honestly gotta tell you, the whole "do unto others as you would like them done unto you" I kinda agree with that one, seeing as everything saddam did to his people, you went a little easy on him, so I guess we will give you a pass on this one. Sure the whole hanging thing, but hell, I was crucified for a LOT LESS.
If you really think about it Iraq and that entire area needed an attitide adjustment. First the tower of babel, and the list just goes on. So what do you say I turn some water into wine, we break some bread, eat some fish and you show me how in the hell, this whole "INTERNET" thing works.

Isaiah 13:6 (King James Version)

Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Our squaddies are no longer in Iraq just to die, they are combating terrorists who attacked us on 911. you think of Jesus might choose you to purely stand there and enable the enemy attack you and your loved ones? what variety of question is this you're asking? we've a superb to combat against the enemy who choose to harm us. we've a superb to guard ourselves from those radicals and we've a superb to guard civilians from being killed via those radical terrorists who're launching missiles from Gaza and killing harmless human beings. while you're no longer conserving your self or your loved ones, then you rather're a coward.

I think Jesus would be sad by many of the things he saw on this earth. But only He knows Bush's heart and his intent. We have no way of knowing just how Jesus would and will judge all of us. The only thing we can do is pray for the leaders of our country.

He would say that he is saddened by the violence, death, and intolerance that has been perpetrated in his (Jesus') name.

Not that Bush would care. He wouldn't know Jesus; he'd scornfully dismiss him as just another long-haired, peacenick, Lib.
