I have wondered about this for 5 years.

So the world is controled by banks and aristrocrats not votes. Everyone knows this.

Bin Laden claimed he bombed the WTC because the US had bombed his family Banks in Bierut.

Isn't this simply one aristrocrat bombing another. Like Bush bombing Saddam.

Does any of this have any meaning that applies to the general public. It's like the Kings of France and England fighting for 100's of years. One aristrocrat fighting another.

If you got the option of doing jailtime at the weekend is it worth it or does it just mean that the jail time goes on for much longer?

Back in court for a first DUI on Friday. Just wondering what people think of this - I have been looking for a job and have an offer but can't start until I know what's happening on Friday. Is it just for people who already have jobs and get short sentences or is it an option if they think you should get jail but see that your trying to get back on track.

I broke my parole by getting the DUI so I'm probably looking at going back for a good while but am just thinking about it. I know some people get it for DUI.

There was a time that the free world once needed a strong U.S. military backed by a strong dollar to offset a Soviet threat. Since abandoning the gold standard, the only thing that has supported the value of the dollar has been the international currency market.
After WWII, the U.S. dollar replaced the British pound as the international currency. Countries across the global hold trillions of U.S. dollars to back their own currency.
Times are different today. There is no Soviet threat. What motivates the capitalists world to support the dollar today?
International trade in Euros is on the rise. What will the USA face if the dollar loses hegemony?

If your belief system seemed to be the same as the majority of atheists, agnostics, anarchists, and terrorists. . . ... .wouldn't that be TIME to reassess your belief system ?

If I found myself on the same side of the fence with the aforementioned groups. . . . ..I'd definitely take a good long look at what my beliefs REALLY STOOD FOR .

What about you ?

During the past few years, Republican members of the Senate have accused the Democratic minority in the Senate of being "obstructionist" and threatening the "nuclear option" of negating the filibuster via rules changes if the Democrats used their power of filibuster. Now the Democrats have the majority and last month, when the minimum wage increase bill came to the Senate floor, the Republican response... was to filibuster.

Isn't this a bit hypocritical?

I don't deny them the right of filibuster, and I do personally think that perhaps some tax relief for small businesses is in order (whether that's what the Republicans do or not)... but my focus is on the rhetoric. If using the filibuster as a minority party is so "obstructionist" and wrong, why was it one of the first actions taken by the Republican minority in this Senate?

Is their rhetoric entirely disconnected from their reality or is there some loophole in everything Republicans say that says they don't have to abide?

Ok, here is the story, my bestfriend lived @ his apartment for about 7-8 years, i recently moved in with him. And we split bills 50/50. WE talked to the landlord and he was cool with it..then about one month later he started busting our chops..telling us we cant have people over, we cant haev people stay over, and whenever people came over, he'd get in their face. so i called the tribunal and they told me to write him a note, so we did. now just recently we got a note from his lawyer saying i have to leave casue we are subletting/assignment the unit. and to my understanding thats not the situation. so if im missing something or doing something wrong please let me know....

Yesterday I went to enlist in the Salvation Army. All of the ladies gave me this puzzled look and one even burst into laughter. I was really upset beacause I shaved my head and everything. I am in excellent physical condition by the way, but apparently something about me did not meet their stringent requirements. What could the problem be?

The liberals insult the intelligence of every Conservative when they say things like that . You can add to the list : Conservatives must be too young to understand. . . . .and Conservatives only listen to Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity(btw, we have to listen to Colmes to listen to Hannity) and Coulter .

We have BELIEFS . They are our OWN . We don't get those beliefs from the radio or TV . We get them from strong moral up-bringing, family values, and many of us get them from GOD .

Is this the 'new' liberal LMAO argument ?
Diminish the view of the opposition by attributing it to youth or parroting ?
And how does THAT fit in with the whole TOLERANCE BS spewed daily by Liberals ?
