The liberals insult the intelligence of every Conservative when they say things like that . You can add to the list : Conservatives must be too young to understand. . . . .and Conservatives only listen to Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity(btw, we have to listen to Colmes to listen to Hannity) and Coulter .
We have BELIEFS . They are our OWN . We don't get those beliefs from the radio or TV . We get them from strong moral up-bringing, family values, and many of us get them from GOD .
Is this the 'new' liberal LMAO argument ?
Diminish the view of the opposition by attributing it to youth or parroting ?
And how does THAT fit in with the whole TOLERANCE BS spewed daily by Liberals ?

SO Charlooch, I have to assume that you listen to Hannity, O'Rielly and Limbaugh to know when a Conservative is stating their quotes verbatim. Or are you one of the Liberals who hate Limbaugh, et all, but never listen to them.
To answer the question, the Liberals and Conservatives on this site are both guilty of doing what you say. The folks on the right accuse the Liberals getting all their information from the Liberal media and the lefties accuse the Conservatives of parroting Fox News and others.
It all has to do with 90% of the people posting have no idea what they are talking about and could not hold their weight in a true debate so they throw insults instead of making thoughful points.

They parrot every word of the Communist News Network aka CNN and every B.S. movie star for their "original" thoughts so they think that we must listen to O'Reilly or Coulter to form our ideas. People believe that all other people operate as they do i.e. liars are distrustful, cheaters are suspicious, and liberals can't recognize an original thought if it wacked 'em up side the head.
They also think we are all rabid Baptists. I've been an Atheist all my life, but that doesn't mean I'm a degenerate who can't tell right from wrong.

Typical of a reactionary nationalist who keeps sending me hateful mail.
You do not have "beliefs" you have a malleable mind that conservative politicians dupe into voting for more war and more social divicisness.
"Christian Tolerance" is THE REAL BS, sweetheart.

I have noticed that Fox News is the only network that features all areas of the political spectrum unlike CNN and MSNBC which ask loaded questions. Liberals of the 1960's were idealistic and tolerant of all beliefs. Liberals of today are only tolerant of people who share their beliefs which is the exact opposite of the liberals of the 1960's. This is shown clearly by their continuing to disrupt conservative speakers on college campuses. Colmes is more of a 60's liberal than a majority of people who call themselves "liberals".

Because the beliefs fly in the face of reality. If you choose to take something on faith, like religion, that's your business, but if you make choices on faith and not facts and you don't look at history, well, as its been said before, you are condemned to repeat it.
For one thing its mature to realize that other people, cultures and religions have value to the people who adhere to them, and that's the point of tolerance.
I know of no religion which encourages the killing of people who are not of that religion, with the exception of some of the radical Muslims and that's a company I wouldn't care to be lumped in with.

It is their disingenuous way of trying to stop the debate. The liberals can't fight the facts that destroy their fairy tale like beliefs. So they change the topic to the TV habits of the attacker.
They should try to stiudy up on politics an economics so they can make informed decisions instead of relying on comedians to provide them with their indepth analysis of current events. (Oh yeah, they listen to unemployed sportscasters as well.)
I listen to Air America on my way to work to give me the liberals talking points for the day. I then study the facts so I can disassemble their talking points with facts and reality.
There is a lot more to life than parrotting talking points and half baked conspiracy theories. And you should know by now that liberals are only tolerant of the people who support their fairy tales and neo-liberal agenda.

Fox news is a conservative news station. The only unbiased news is the BBC, who have to be as if they are biased, the reporter gets fired and they get fined millions off the British gov't. The BBC is owned by British people, they are not allowed an opinion on anything.

The reason why we mention Fox and Rush is because you guys often listen to them. Also, the conservatives are just as guilty of dismissing liberals' beliefs and chalking them up to the liberals either being too young or to their watching CNN. We also have values and beliefs of our own. We believe in protecting the planet, for example. We believe in equal rights for all, without regard for race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation. We also believe in what the Constitution stands for. We don't get our values from TV, either. We get them from our sense of reason and justice.

It's hard to believe the Conservative posters are serious.
So many posts are borderline Feral. Beastly in nature not common to the human specie.
Say someone has a child born with a birth defect. And asks questions about care for the child. a Typical Red State answer would be... Why don't you stop living on welfare and take responsibility for your failed abortions.. Or the ever present ... go back to Iran you terrorist.

simple.... fox news is the only major media outlet that has a consevative slant to it. (anyone who believes they are not biased is just as silly as thinking cnn is not biased.) as such, it is the only thing they can really focus on. consevatives don't have one source they can point to.
the funny part is how often the parroting claim is parroted.
side quesion.... does anyone acctually listen to Rush? i think even among die-hard conservatives he has lost all credibility.
