I live in florida and in the community rules it states that you can NOT park on the street over night [must use your own drive way etc] A neighbour who has about 6 different cars in a two car garage with space for four in the drive has taken to parking across my mail box..whilst I dont like that, what sends me nuts is that IF she does that I do not get my mail [they will not deliever if post is blocked] have tried the nice note [and it really was a nice note]
What is my next move please

contact your homeowners association and tell them
Not sure what you have to do after that....I dont think that breaking
theses laws will constitue charges being filed. Not sure if you can have it towed away with it being on a public street....at this point the associaiton will have to handle it.

In my option if you have tried the nice note, then I woudl confront the person face to face and tell them your concerns. ANd also tell them that if they continue to do it you will be forced to contact the police. By giving them warning i think it is then okay for you to follow through with your threat. I know it's tough to be mean but i really enjoy getting my mail, and I am sure that she wouldn't like it if you parked in front of her mailbox so she couldn't get her mail.

Go to the committee that makes the rules for your community & complain to them. Let them know that you will call the police if it continues. I'm not sure that the police can do anything because they could consider your community private property. But it couldn't hurt to call them anyway. I would. Also, the mail is a federal service & one is not allowed to interfer but the delivery of mail. You could call your local postal service & ask them what could be done, if anything.

The street is public property sorry. You need to contact the postoffice and complain. I'm sure the post men have had more difficult things to deal with to deliver mail. They're not delivering because a car is blocking the mailbox???? That sounds so lazy. COMPLAIN ABOUT THE MAILMAN.

Call police and start having the vehicles towed. If you already tried "nice", then its time to move up the scale to "naughty", and there is still "mean" left, so I hope naughty works..??? Good Luck,,

Some cities like Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. require residents to get parking permits so that they can stick them to their windshield. See if you can do that where you live.

You don't have control of the street in front of your house. It doesn't matter who parks there, they don't need to move if you tell them to.
Park your car in front of their mailbox if you can,see how they like it. Contact your city hall property standards department for more information.
