Is it called Electoral votes or Presidental votes? All I know is that I don't have that right, that simple democratic right, to vote for the president. Is it any wonder why less than half the population doesn't vote?

Is this 'why' you elected your new leadership.. . . . to Stand-Up Strong, and offer 'NON-BINDING RESOLUTIONS' ? LMAO

Seriously man, are you guys really all that proud of this 'NON-ACTION' ? LMAO

Sorry about the laughter, but cmon people, you've been duped by your own party !!

Or perhaps, this could be the mantra of the Dems.. .. . afterall they consider all 17 Resolutions against Iraq as 'NON-BINDING' ?LMAO

Note to Dems : We Cons would be outraged at such NON-ACTION and I believe you know it !!!

Or will they stay on this fake "Neoconservative" platform of HUGE spending, big brother government, huge deficits, and forcing all in the party to agree on everything, while hanging the conservatives who disagree out to dry? I would sure like vote GOP in 08. But the Dems get my vote unless the party comes up with a REAL conservative!

Look around, we have North Korea who has told us straight up the have nukes. We have Iran who says they are working on energy not nukes, we have Iraq....no WMD found....but we are at war, we have the big one RUSSIA who has confirmed they will be building up their army and navy over the next few years (nukes included).and what about China.....We need to go back to Allies 101 and make sure we know who are friends are or we are going to be in big trouble SOON. What is your opinion on this or am I the only one who see's it?

Three thousand evidently was NOT enough. So then how many dead Americans will change their mind ? 5 thousand ? Ten thousand ? One hundred thousand ? How about a million ?? How many American lives must be lost before they finally wake up and understand the complex enormity of the task ahead of us and stop simplifying and politicizing the war effort and undermining our country ??

due to her admitted involvement into "hacking" into the club website/forums and accessing administrative areas. The question is, in the minutes from the meeting, do we use her real name, or call her "member" and leave her identity unknown? These minutes are available on our website for full view of anyone to see....

If I bring a major class action lawsuit (big business) to a particular firm, is it ethical for me to expect some kind of "finder's fee" or extra cut for bringing the business?

I already know how attorneys would respond to this - it's obvious.

Anyone else have an opinion, suggestion, or fact on this?

Thanks!

Andy

I arrived in the US and applied for a Green Card, sponsored by my US citizen wife, a few years ago?
If we divorce, does this change my status, or can I remain as a resident alien?

Religious zealots who say they respect your different beliefs but when you get them talking about their own, indicate that they really think that their own lifestyle choices are somehow saving humanity from damnation?

Or....

Eco-zealots who think that because they sort their garbage they're "saving the planet?"

I think they're equally annoying. Look, different people choose different lifestyles. It's SUBJECTIVE. That's why people should be free to choose their own lifestyle. Your lifestyle may differ from mine and I respect your right to pursue your own happiness - but you're not saving anyone's eternal soul and you're not saving the planet either.

Actually hold on - the most annoying thing is when one type makes fun of the other type - they're both the SAME!

On the first full day of the new Congress, US Representative Carolyn McCarthy (D-Garden City) introduced a measure that would force states to comply with an automated system that does background checks on those attempting to keep guns out of the hands of convicted felons and others. While there are some who are calling it "the first major anti-gun bill" of the Democrat-controlled Congress, and a threat to Second Amendment rights, McCarthy and others claim that the measure is simply a way to bring the nation up to speed on a system authorized and already in place.

Putting aside that fact that I am not a huge fan of Mrs. Clinton, I think it is imperative that the Democrats win the 2008 presidential election, to move this country in right direction. But do you actually believe she can win? I have no doubt she can get the Democractic nomination, but despite recent polls showing her leading all potential GOP candidates (http://www.pollingreport.com/wh08gen.htm), I just don't think she can beat McCain or Giuliani, when the voters go the polls. What do you think?
