Is this 'why' you elected your new leadership.. . . . to Stand-Up Strong, and offer 'NON-BINDING RESOLUTIONS' ? LMAO

Seriously man, are you guys really all that proud of this 'NON-ACTION' ? LMAO

Sorry about the laughter, but cmon people, you've been duped by your own party !!

Or perhaps, this could be the mantra of the Dems.. .. . afterall they consider all 17 Resolutions against Iraq as 'NON-BINDING' ?LMAO

Note to Dems : We Cons would be outraged at such NON-ACTION and I believe you know it !!!

The use of quotation marks, CAP letters, and '. .. . ', is designed to give pause or emphasize a particular point . I've heard that some consider CAPS as yelling, but not for me . Others have called it offensive !! Absolutely ridiculous to be offended or scared of LETTERS !!!!!

I am not a liberal, and I think the resolution shows our political class at their worst. Democrats, and some Republicans, posturing and positioning themselves for the next election with their votes, while our troops are putting their lives on the line. Seems like these pols have no problem stabbing our troops in the back, just to see their poll numbers rise a point or two. It accomplishes NOTHING.

I say this to every senator: If you're against the war, have the guts to vote to de-fund it. If you're for the war, support our troops for God's sake. There is a whole world outside your little Senate bubble, and we all think you're totally out of touch!!!

Not a backbone, conscience, or statesmanly instinct in the lot of them. Really, they are beneath contempt. Have we really sunk this low?

You could have been a little more mature on your statement, but I do agree. The democrats blindly led the people to think they would be able to pull our troops out of Iraq. This is not going to happen because it's the president's decision to do this. Of course, congress controls the purse, but they would never cut off funding to our troops in the battle zone. Did they forget to mention this when they were rallying up people to vote for them?

i do not bear in mind. Why ought to they decide on to vote to sentence loose speech in u . s . a .. ought to they vote to sentence Rush, Sean, invoice, and Mike Wiener for every time they pronounced as elected Congressmen/females traitors? The note traitor does not even seem contained in the Moveon ad. Time to flow on and gives you up all the whining. the overall is a tremendous boy, i'm particular his emotions are ok.

Not only are they meaningless, but they are disingenuous.

They can't really take a stand and do anything about the war in Iraq, as they promised they would.

Heaven forbid!

They know that if they did so, they would lose the vote, and then they would be exposed as being impotent.

This Con would be pissed, but then again I have a backbone to stand up with. The current political crowd is pathetic at best, and that is on BOTH sides of the isle.

The Democratic party is just as pathetic as the Republican party.
Two different sides of the same corporate agenda is all you get with either one.
It is pathetic how they are such weak spineless do nothing whiners.

Earnest, get a grip here. I think ALL politicians are suspect. I don't trust anyone just because of their party affiliation or non-affiliation. I think that is a big part of the problem in America, they advance party agendas instead what the American public needs and wants.

It's like being censured. It has no weight to it at all. They can now go back to the voters and say, "Look what I did! I voted for this resolution."

As American helicopters get shot out of the sky on a daily basis, does it really matter what Congress says? The troops are coming home - the war has been lost.

A little hypocritical after the rubber stamp con congress passed hundreds of non binding resolutions. It seems they did little else.
