The dems control the house and senate now...Why are all the troops not on boats and planes coming back home? Did you also know that during the Clinton administration, a president that openly criticized the us armed forces deployed us troops more times in his time as president that any other president? Democrats, republicans, independants it does not really matter who is in there. You are only as good as the sum of the whole. I don't feel stupid for voting for Bush, I don't feel stupid for voting for Clinton. I feel sad that there are ignorant little closed minded people like you that have to point the blame always towards someone else. Like you could do any better or make things better. When you are standing in the corner in a puddle of piss with a snot bubble hanging out of your nose begging for someone to come rescue you. I will gurantee that you won't care if it is a democrat, republican or independant. You will just pray to whatever God you bow your head to that it is an American!!!

I voted for Bush to stand up against terrorism and win the war in Iraq. So far he hasn't backed down from either commitment so I don't feel cheated in any way. I'm very pleased with my decision and don't feel the least bit stupid for voting on something that is being done. I'm sure you feel stupid for voting for the Democrats empty promise of getting our soldiers out of Iraq.

Stunned by the brilliance and insight you showed in your question, I just HAD to read your profile to see how I've missed interacting with you so far!

Now I'm compelled to tell you that some devious person has obviously taken over your home page and inserted a phony bio that says that the only things you like to do in your spare time are "smoke, drink, f*** and listen to music".

You must be outraged!!!

Now back to your Q. Yes...I do feel SO stupid! We're all trying to bring ourselves up to your level, but it's just so difficult! Please bear with us and continue to send us instructions as to how we should vote, how we should think...

And what we should do in our spare time.

I voted for him twice. I am very disappointed in his administration but do not really feel stupid due to the fact that the choice I was given was so poor. Al Gore seemed unstable to me in that he felt to completely change his personality for each debate and continued to make white lies all the time. John Kerry had such a history of tax increases even on the lower middle class that I was certainly afraid of his tax policies. In hindsight I made a mistake voting for Bush but I don't feel stupid for it.

I am part of the 60% who does not think he is doing the correct thing in Iraq, but of the 60% I am part of the half that thinks he is doing to little.

Stupid to me is someone who kills their unborn child, (yet that type of stupidity should die down in a few generations)

I'm a proud American who voted for Bush. I would do it all over again. The same people who are raising hell should go and live in those countries who's people vowed to kill every American. I don't know where your head is, but please wake up before it is too late!!!!!

Your party ran against Bush and the Iraq war. They ran on getting the US soldiers out of Iraq. I bet you feel stupid now, finding out it was all rhetoric and half promises that they cannot keep.

You are obviously incapable of excepting the FACT that GWBush was not only elected, but was also re-elected. God forbid he is successful in defeating the ideology responsible for thousands of indiscriminate murders, terror, acts of war and the events of 9/11.
It is indeed you who should feel somewhat stupid for your total lack of support during war time. Shame on you.

I just love to see all these neocons scramble when some one tweaks their noses. It's like kicking an anthill. It's too bad they never come out in protest of all the troops being killed over in Iraq. The Democrats can't bring them home without the help of the Republicans. Remember that when you falsely accuse Democrats of not keeping their promises. What do you people think all this ballyhoo is about regarding the nonbinding referendum. The Dems are reaching out for Repub help, how the hell else is it going to be done?

There is an old saying that goes

"If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain."

I think the quote speaks for itself based upon your question. So you must not have a brain.
