Then they turn around and support the same government's attempts to reshape the world according to business interests?
They will go on and on about how they want government out of public schools and medical care, because they are too bloated, yet fully support a military that is happy to funnel tax dollars into huge corporations.
Seems that health care and public schooling is a smaller project than toppling and creating governments in foreign lands that are hostile to us being there. Doesn't make sense to me.

I'm a California resident and im very upset with the "no sell hand guns" law. I'm from Oakland and it's a dangerous city to live in. I know they stopped selling hand guns to 'stop' crimes, well guess what? There are still shootings and killings in my city. I can't protect myself if someone tries to come into my house. Criminals can easily get guns from the streets, while a hard working joe like me is left defenseless. People who live in nice neighborhoods may say "You don't need a gun, just call the police", well "hahaha" Oakland police don't bother to get your house until 5-8 hours later. Well i just wanted to know how i could get a hand gun legally? would i have to travel to another state to buy one? if so would it be hard for me to buy one because I'm from California? Would California let me bring it in legally? I know it may seem like a lot to go thru but im just a hard working joe not wanting to buy a dirty gun off the street. thank you for taking the time to read this.

The Iraq war has become very unpopular these days and Bush and his administration have taken beatings from everywhere. For those who are still supportive of Bush, what good is left of this administration? Those who are opposed are wondering why some people still support Bush.

I know liberals that have dropped out of community, yet mock republicans and call them idiots. Where has this false sense of elitism come from? Why do people that watch the comedy network for their news think they are so much more intelligent than the rest of America? And why do they constantly mock their own country by telling the world that Americans are stupid because the 04 election didn't go exactly the way they demanded it go? Will they do the same if Rudy Giuliani wins in 08?

I'm looking for news articles, tv or radio reports, art work or songs that talk about government control over the lives of citizens and how far their invasion of our private lives go. Does any one know some good internet sites I can go to?
Thanks!

Our city was a ghost town on Sunday due to the Super Bowl, but yet a high percentage of Americans do not vote and have no interest in understanding how laws and government regulations effect them on a daily basis. What's up with that?

history of drugs. We can smell a horrible ordor kind of like a septic system or sewage. It happens only late at night. My question, can it cause damage for us to breath it. And also if their house blows up, will it effect us. We are about 200 yards from them. I will not turn them for fear they will know it was us and cause us harm. Please help. I am very concerned about our safety.

Don'tcha think that if President Bush and his "friends" had really done their homework BEFORE invading Iraq they would have figured out that the majority of Iraq doesn't want a democracy? The Iraqi's have lived their sectarian lives for thousands of years did GW think he could persuade them with his charm? These people are stil living an ancient lifestyle. They don't want to become modern like the sinful West/Europeans. They have fought since the beginning of time over who would be ruler, what lands they would occupy, and which version of the Quran to follow. Should we really expect change from these people? We are now convieniently positioned in Iraq so that the Iraqi's and Iranians can slaughter Americans at an alarming rate. When will our own gov't figure this out? Is VICTORY more important than human life?
