Let's see... Hollywood, such as Tim Robbins, Barbara Streisand, Ted Turner, Jane Fonda... CNN, NBC, and most news outlets. Heck, Libs think Martin Sheen was actually a real president. Yes, they'll say that Rudy stole the election. I've found that most Liberals don't have the mentality of but a 5 year old, retarded child. So sad.

No one tells liberals that they are smart and the rest of America is stupid. You're seeing the rantings of the crazed liberal minority we (liberals) wish we could lock in closets and forget about. I'm sure the conservatives have those too. And most everyone else.
Those crazed individuals on all sides make the more moderate folk who do think that those crazies represent the whole 'other' side get angry. Then, we end up disliking each other for our thoughts, calling each other 'libtards' and 'bull-headed sheep,' and other mean things.
Unfortunately, people in the middle don't win too much during election time (especially nationwide). So picking a side and giving the opposite to the other is all that we can hope for.
'Well, even though Candidate X sucks at A,B,C, they agree with me on D,E,F, which Candidate Y would go against. And since I only agree with Candidate Y on A, I guess I won't vote for them. Because Candidate Z is moderate, even though I agree on all, they probably won't win (false, but people think it), so I'll vote Candidate X.'
Okay, maybe that's a bit long-winded and confusing. Whatever. My point is, you're looking at radicals, not the real people.

John Kerry . Madame Hillary . Just to name a few ..The (gag) "elite" Massachusetts Senator leads the liberals in berating American Troops on the battlefield , slandering their intelligence . If the average voter could only hear the real story on these "characters" the democrats put on thrones - instead of what the biased liberal media decides ..the democrats would never again get the chance to denigrate America and all we stand for .
I have a hunch if Rudy Giuliani wins in '08 , the liberals won't get away with their treasonous tearing down of America . He cleaned up New York as mayor - he can take care of a few riff raff treasonous senators who aid & comfort the enemy during war .

It is true that liberalism is attractive to those who indulge in youthful elitism -- those who are just growing into adulthood and think "wow, government is so mismanaged. If people as smart as me were running it, it would work better."
That doesn't mean liberalism is elitist. Liberalism means using government to promote and protect the common man. It is unfortunate in the extreme that a vocal minority of liberals who think that they are better than the people they want to help often dominate the liberal side of the conversation.
It is the "I know what's best for you," attitude that often does discredit liberalism.
I don't wholly embrace any "ism." I can't be completely liberal, because I know there are limits to what the goverment can do for citizens.
That said, the government can do more for the American people, and it can spend less doing it, if it is managed better. And I think it is time to give dems a chance to do so, because they can't do as badly as the republicans were doing the last few years.
Don't worry about it though -- doesn't look like the dems will change it much, anyway.
Oh, and, I guess some people would decry a Giuliani victory and some wouldn't. If he won the electoral but not the popular vote, such as Bush in 2000, yeah, there would be likely angry protests.

Having opposed the invasion of Iraq and having done enough scientific research to be certain AGW is a hoax, I'd say I am smarter than you or any of the believers in AGW. To the children making negative remarks about republicans, if they are so stupid why do you believe they are all rich? Are you too smart to get rich or to even earn a living without stealing from those who do?

Giuliani has less chance than Jeb Bush of becoming President.
Some liberal youth went to the most elite 'old-school' republican conservative private schools and colleges that America has to offer just for the pleasure of goofing on old-money legacy nerds.
On the other hand, conservative disdain for Harvard and Yale is justified – just ask any Williams or Princeton graduate.
So, on the one hand we have the pathologically insane, and on the other we have the insanely naïve. Such is America’s political leadership.

uh... how many questions do I see on here every day that call liberals stupid, usually not even bothering to list a reason...
a good 20 or so at least...
it's pretty clear that Republicans do the same thing... and they did it with the Nov. election too...
and right now the "rest of America" is that 30 percent that still support Bush... but I don't think they are stupid... well maybe some are, but there are stupid people everywhere...
and Rudy is pretty liberal... I suspect that many liberals won't mind that much... if he won...
Good luck in the south with a liberal from NYC though...

Who tells the Republicans that lying, cheating and smearing leads to good things? I think they just take it at face value. First, winning is everything to the Republicans. There belief is that you have to win at any cost if you wish to dominate!
That is the first part of what is called the Republican creed, selfishness, grandiosity, loyalty to the successful and loathing for failed. Second, ideals are carp, and the Democrats are full of unworkable and unrealistic carp ideals. Nature hates equality which explains loins in the Bush's.
Finally, citizens are general stupid republicans believe, just tell them what to think while you promise them everything and laugh at them otherwise.
Like Katrina, tell them how committed you are to restoring the Big Ease, but don't bother actually doing anything about it.
If Bush was honest about his thinking which was on display during Katrina, he would say "the best thing that ever happened to New Orleans was Katerina, because Katerina chased the poor blacks out of town."
This is Republicanism in the nude! Just look at what is happening in the Middle East. Do you actually think that George W. Bush cares about any of the people who are being killed everyday in Iraq? If you do, you are a perfect Republican follower.

Well, its like this. Most of America is more or less moderate to liberal--but nobody told us we were smarter than the conservatives. We figured that out for ourselves--by watching you neocons. Now, granted, liberals aren't all geniuses--but none of us ever droppped off 350 tons of $100 bills in a war zone without bothering to get a receipt! And you wonder why we think neocons are stupid! LOL

Other Liberals . . . who else? It's easy to be a Liberal; all you have to do is say you care. You don't even have to DO anything.
I have to laugh at the stereotype - Liberals pride themselves on being compassionate, understanding, tolerant, and accepting. But try and tell one that you don't agree with their political views. Then you are demonized, and affixed with a label (i.e. neo-con, homophobe, war monger, religious fanatic, etc.)
For this, and other reasons, I am now convinced that Liberalism is not an ideology but a mental disorder. Hence the term "Lib-Tard."
