I think if you look at the events of the last few weeks there is no doubt about this. We have increased troop strength in Iraq. Moved another fleet into the Gulf, and moved to double the capacity of the strategic oil reserves. This tells me that George Bush has every intention of starting another war. What worrys me is Iran and Russia and China are all trading partners with Iran and this could be the start of W.W. l l l. These are real dangerous times for America and the world.

It depends on how badly they want to squeeze the oil supply. Any attack on Iraq will result in their mining of the Gulf and its straits, choking the oil supply and driving costs to impossible levels. That’s the good news (for Exxon anyway).
On the other hand, there is that nasty problem of having 100,000 of our troops trapped in one geographical location and already unable to secure the road to the Baghdad airport.
The administration is made up of the most pathological liars in US history. Things are not going acceptably in Iraq. Our troops are exhausted and demoralized. A vast majority of them are just trying to stay alive barricaded inside the Green Zone.
Iran has a 500,000 active frontline military and over 10,000,000 available military personnel. They survived a decade long WWI-style campaign against Iraq that was more vicious and brutal than anything we can do to them, and they are anticipating the fight.
Finally, we will be left without and single friend anywhere in the world and no American will ever be safe again, even at home.
As with every use of America’s military by Bush, attacking Iran has no upside for America, or for anyone except radical Islamic terrorists, who are experiencing a boom of recruitment, power, and popularity as a direct result of Bush’s war AGAINST them. It is hard to imagine what Bush could do to aid and assist them more than he already has. Well, … he could attack Iran… Looks like they have outsmarted him again.

If the US is going to attack Iran it won't be for a while. They'll operate through the UN to slap nuclear sanctions on Iran before anything is done. Economically we can't fund another all out campaign, let alone against an entire country and it would cripple our foreign relations.

I don't know, but I can tell you how I would do it. I would get agents to plant a nuclear bomb at Natanz and then set it off. That way we could claim the Iranians had created a nuclear bomb and then accidentally detonated it throught incompetence and inexperience. Nobody would be able to prove anything and we would a) wipe out Natanz and b) make the rest of the world a whole lot more concerned about the Iranian nuclear program.

no...not yet.
like iraq they only wait for 13 years of sanction before they have guts to attack the weaken iraqi army who suffer during those years.2003 technology against 1990 technology it is like muskets against M16.
at present iran has just purchased dangerous surface-to-air missiles from russia.and looking at the past, US rely heavily on air superiority.naahh...too dangerous to attack now.
i think they will wait until iraq is stable and of course with the sanctions imposed on iran now the time will come.
someday..maybe years to come....

Yes.
On February 21st.
First they'll carpet bomb using fried pork rinds and bacon. Next, they'll send in the PMS Brigade.
