Google, or go to USgov.com Search/; finding prison inmate in united states. Or in your seach type: free online prison inmate info........ this is what I did and found the site to go to for info about a friend of mine. Some charge or just give "bait info" and then want you to join their site for a one time fee. Actually this is what i did, and now for a year I can find out any criminal info about someone incarcerated or otherwise. Hope this helps.

Find the website for your local State Dept of Correction and do an offender search

Ask someone in their family or look in public records
Our state has a website for that called Imate locator. Look up your state of corrections department, and see if you have one also.

do a personal check on him online. use yahoo personal. It tells you the person's records, number of tickets, reason for tickets, the number of times arrested, location of detention center, and ETC...
