Clock changed to five minutes to midnight.

The official announcement of the most recent change to five minutes to midnight took place on January 17, 2007 at 14:30 hours GMT

Why was it lower (2 minutes to midnight)in 1953 when the United States and the Soviet Union tested thermonuclear devices within nine months of one another?

However, in response to a perception of increased scientific cooperation and public understanding of the dangers of nuclear weapons, clock is changed to seven minutes to midnight in 1960.

Is the clock accurate today?

how long from commission of a crime can you be idicted by a federal grand jury. ive been sentenced by the sate to probation, but their was a fed in my interogation taking notes,and thats bugging the crap outa me. ive heard nothing or recieved nothing from the feds. will they try to indict me after ive served my one year state probation?

My x- b/f is in the Army and he is so abusive. Not only him, but all of his Ranger buddies are the same way. I have JUST gotten out of this relationship, but don't understand this whole situation. I would think after they see some of the things they see when fighting for our country that they wouldn't take advantage like I see them doing. I have also heard that the stats on relationships with men in the Army that abuse is alot higher....please help...I love this man and I love our country, but what is our military teaching these guys? He has been at a training base now for 2 years!...as well as the other guys. It's not like they just got back from war!

I was driving a giant old 1955 Mack Wrecker back to St. Pete one dark night. Up ahead was a Highway Patrol car with a big black Lincoln pulled over. I saw the patrolman and a big black guy between the cars. As I got closer, the black guy attacked the patrolman and they both rolled down the bank to the bottom. The black guy was on top of the cop with his gun and shot him right between the eyes! Saw the flash, heard the shot and seen it happen. I got on the 2-way and the cb hoping somebody would hear me and it worked! The two black guys were busted bofore they got to Tampa. The patrolman was dead. I couldn't have helped him if I had stopped. They had his gun. I didn't have one. This happened in the 1980s.

Americans accused many nations to have nuclear weapons (i.e. Iraq, Iran, China, North Korea and many others) and want them to be destroyed. But do you think America have their own nuclear weapons? If so, what justify them for making it seems like when other nations have it then it's wrong, but when US have it, it's okay?

I am actually fed up of Tijuana Police. I have been detained twice and there excessive fines make it impossible to visit Tijuana. TJ is my 2nd home and it hurts me not to be able to go. I have parked my car in San Ysidro, which is the only solution I see. But does anyone know a way to fight back against Tijuana police. I was detained last week and was going to be send to prison along with my girl for posessing "illegal prescription drugs" which actually had a prescription since my girl is bipolar. I was stopped because I was going too slow. They let us go without paying anything but it scared the crap out of me. There has to be a way to fight back anyone know how???
