how long from commission of a crime can you be idicted by a federal grand jury. ive been sentenced by the sate to probation, but their was a fed in my interogation taking notes,and thats bugging the crap outa me. ive heard nothing or recieved nothing from the feds. will they try to indict me after ive served my one year state probation?

Probation supersedes imprisonment. Thus, do not violate the rules of probation so that you will not be imprisoned.

Depends on the crime. Statue of limitation is different for many offenses, and non-existent on others.
A year's probation is a slap on the wrist, so maybe the offense wasn't all that serious and the Fed's will go look for bigger fish.
