the jury system is the best in the world , but, we have let the judges and prosecutors destroy our justice system by letting them make their own rules and running the courts as their own, our news media has also played a big role in destroying our justice system, by telling the populace that the criminal is getting away with everything which is a damned Lie, we have a 98.8 %conviction ratio in this country the highest in any nation, why?1st the people on the jury's say to them selves after watching T,V, or reading the news, this one is not getting away, so they convict wheather or not he is guilty, they believe the prosecutor has nothing to gain so he won't lie, but, on the contrary prosecutors and cops are notorious liars and have plenty to gain, the case is closed and the prosecutor has another feather in his cap so when he runs for higher office he will say look at me i have a 98;8 %conviction ratio, the judges will charge the jury with their duty which is unconstitutional when they say that the preponderance of the evidence, that is why some people are pushing for a ammendment to allow people form the ( fully informed jurors assication ) tell the jury what their duties are in stead of the judge, but, the judges are fightig it tooth and nail, as they want to be in complete control of the courts and get as many convictions as they can guilty or not, there are many ways a prosecutor had judge can influence a jury so that it is not a jury of your peers or a fair trial, they can keep you up for in many cases several days without sleep or rest and no facilities to get shaven or cleanded up so when the accused enters the court room he looks so dragged out and looks like a criminal and they know the first impression is very important, he is also so tired he is usless in his defense, they also stack the jury in important cases with what is known as professional jurors, those that stay around the court house waiting to be asked to perform jury duty, and if they don't vote guilty the prosecutor won't call them anymore so that is another way of insuring a conviction, but, not the only ones there are many ways,

YES. I don't think people are found not guilty because of the jury, but rather the lack of evidence. The prosecution must prove without a doubt. It's not the jury's fault. The defense only has to put a small kink in the armor of the prosecution to put doubt in the jury's mind.

On the other hand, many times people are found guilty and turn out to be not guilty. Still not the jury's fault, because if evidence was tainted they don't have knowledge of that, they can only base their decisions on what evidence was presented to them.

Having been a juror many times, I can tell you that juries take the job INCREDIBLY seriously, and I believe a jury cannot be wrong.

As far as OJ goes, he MAY have done it, but they sure didn't prove him guilty.

I've been on cases where they cops were so obviously lying you had to hold back your laughter. One cop said he couldn't tell the difference between a cellphone and a cordless home phone. Uh huh.

The jury system works. And if you were on trial, wouldn't you want 12 of your peers making the decision?

you're presumed probability free till shown accountable, and interior the trial of OJ the DA/prosecution did not go away any determination except first degree homicide on the table for the jurors. that signifies that the prosecution had to instruct previous A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that he develop into accountable. there have been too many stuff that solid that shadow, so he develop into acquitted. in the experience that they'd enable 2d degree or maybe manslaughter be an determination, then he may were discovered accountable - the prosecution screwed up, common and easy.

it is not because of the jury system...it's because of the endless appeal system.
