Smoking and Drinking is just as bad, teens and adults both get in many drunk accidents a day more than smokers or second hand smokers it seems. Why is it that cig. companies have to pay more? Well...maybe because they lied about their product? Or is it that America just jumps from blames to blames, cigs than mcdonalds...

Will the Savages in Iraq wait for more Americans to turn against the war so they can win? Will Pelosi succeed in her effort to kill more American troops? Should the President begin Bombing raids in Iraq until even the most Radical savages throw up their hands and surrender?

....the funding of those line items which directly SUPPORT the troops.

Budgets have certain line items. There are line items for US troop salaries, living expenses, food, weapons for troops, uniforms, boots, etc. The budget is all laid out, clear as day (or at least it should be). Pelosi and followers maintain that they will not cut funding for Iraq war because they support the troops.
BUT !
all of those billions do not "support the troops"
much of that money goes to contractors and their thousand dollar a day security people.
So discontinue funding for these contractors! Fund only those services that benefit the troops. Period!
Haliburton provides food and water?
Fine Get some other company to do it, and at far less cost.
The Congress can deny funding
except for those services which directly support the troops.
And they could do it if they really wanted to! They're just too lazy and ignorant to spend the time it would take to restructure that budget.

How many USMCs are actively gay & how is this contributing to the low morale in the the Service? The Army recently asked this & as a result gays were removed from Delta & The Rangers. It says that they have been redrafted to the Coast Guard.

Seriously, are we a nation of fourth graders? There are actual positions other than "Bush's" and "the enemy's"- the position of every expert Bush has ignored, for example.
Am I supposed to believe that the insurgents base their willingness to attack our troops on watching C-Span?
Were the flowers and candy put away only after the anti-war movement gained momentum in this country?
Why does disagreeing with the president equal support for the enemy?

I'm a Junior with a double major in Political Science and International Business. I must admit that I didn't know anything about politics outside of what I saw on TV and what other people told me! Not until I changed my major and realized how important politics and government is to everything. School has truly taught me the importance of extensive research, moral reasoning, and most importantly...FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although this is totally against what America "so-called" stands for...

After reading peoples answers/comments about each presidential candidate I must admit that I think that only people who are educated about ploitics and candidates should be allowed to vote.

It really bothers me that people vote for superfical reasons! What a waste of vote that could have went towards a good candidate.

Yahoo!Answers has proven that most Americans aren't smart enough to vote!

Am I the only one who feels this way??!!

I did NOT ask you to COMPARE...

I asked you HOW can you idolize CLINTON when he is morally bankrupt and without any conscience.

I do not condone ANY Republican involved in SEX scandals - NONE. I would make NO excuses for them because in my book, there is no excuse for cheating on your spouse and there is no excuse for lying. Clinton did BOTH among many other things (Bosnia , rape, land deals with his wife)

It would work like finanacial aid for college. This way every one could have private health care insurance instead of employers having to provide it. Everyone could be insured. Most important of all it would not be socialized .

Should it be? I believe if people are stupid enough to smoke in this day and age than let them do it. Let them die off so we won't have to deal with the stupid in government or any place of power. Natural selection. But it is a wonder seeing as tobacco basically saved Jamestown which founded this country and now everyone hates it...Hmmmm....
