Why did Dick Cheney get so upset at Wolf Blitzer? Wolf asked about Dick’s daughter, who is an activist conservative, and the fact that she and her lesbian partner are having a baby together. This violates the tenants of conservatism i.e. children should have a mother and father (not just a sperm donor) to be brought up by. Several conservatives have voiced their disapproval of this 'life style choice'. His daughter has been public about her political life and campaigned for her father, so why would Cheney get so upset? Why can't he voice an opinion about his daughters’ violation of conservative principles?

I'm trying to prove my dad wrong about the Electoral College. If anyone knows exactly how the process works, that would be great. A website would be helpful too...Something that proves the electoral college DOESN'T have to coincide with the popular vote, and instances where it hasn't. Thanks ya'll :)

This morning I caught a little bit of a sotry about a ploice officer that shot and killed someone in their car. They showed a small clip of video from the ploice car camera.

So which is worse, cooperating and getting a ticket or maybe getting arrested or getting shot?

I'm an Indian. This is just a thought I'd like to share. so no critisizing ..post your opinions in a mature way

I believe one reason for poverty and backwardness in Africa today is becoz of the slave trade that had been happening for over many centuries. They were supressed, they had no way of discovering and working on their natural talents. I hope you agree

Now shldn't the countries responsible for this do somthing to cleanup their mess? Yes I'm sure they donate for charity & aids, but to be honest, the poverty rate isnt declining as it should. I think its only fair they do somthin more efficient to reverse their mistakes

Spending millions of dollars in Iraq (in the name of finding WMDs but later chaning the reason) to eliminate absolutism and free the Iraqi people from subordination is not even their responsibility.. but the condition of Africa todaywith millions of ppl dying is a result of what they had done in the past..

So which cause deserves more attention?

Two Proposals Worth Considering...

#1 New Gas Plan- Bush wants us to cut the amount of gas we use. The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants! That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would have to come down as a result.
#2 New Immigration Plan-Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the border. When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq . Tell him if he wants to come to America , then he must serve a tour in the military. Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it. After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.

The vile corrupt biased and disgusting family court system whose guidelines were written by lawyers for the benefit of lawyers the children be damned causes more Non Primary Custodial parents to turn to drug dealing and other violent crime in order to make ends meet. And face it, if the guidelines were fair who would need a divorce lawyer.

Im confused, as someone that knows a thing or two about the way money works, can somebody tell me when we paid off the national debt? All they did was balance a budget (something most of us do on a weekly basis) I hear so much about a surplus from the democrat freinds I have, and so much about growing our way clear of a recession from my republican friends.. As a former "collection agent" I never seen the national debt paid off... From where i sit its like owing a bookie 10 large and thinking you have it made cause you have an extra 5 bucks from your budget....

I'm just a non entity , I offer no solution, I have read other answers posted on a similar question. But it seems simple enough to me , stop jailing so many people or build more prisons !
My recent 'shocker's was to read about a peado who was due to go down for 6 months (6 months only)????
Not enough room to lock him up so suspended sentence, if he commits another similar offence and maybe murders a little kid during his crime, he could be having to do that time on top of his suspended sentence, well thats OK then???? What do you think???
