This 22 year old woman was here since she was 7 years old she has no legal status, has 2 kids and recently was diagnosed with breast and cervical cancer.
She entered a raffle at a spanish radio station .
The price was a 1999 Corvet donated from a famous Mexican/American singer.
The only rule was to be present at time of drawing.
Well she won the car but the radio station lawyer told her tha t if she claim her price He will call U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement to get her deported.
The radio station is the one that organized the "famous" march of people last year.

In a separate incident this month,Toys R Us agreed to award a chinese american infant born in New York a 25,000 prize in a New Year's baby contest after the company was criticized for disqualifying the girl because her mother was (is) an illegal immigrant from china.

Do you think the radio station should give this poor woman (now she is in hiding because she is afraid), the car she won?

If your mother hasn't spoken with you in years (because you were unfortunately forced to prove that she was lying, you were not the one in the wrong, and therefore, she has already proven she cannot be trusted), her mother passes away, and your incommunicado mother has the official will, is there any way to find out if your grandmother wished anything to go to you? Money aside, since I don't believe it's worth any amount of in-fighting with the family over a bit of cash, how do you find out if you were meant to inherit some treasured item your grandmother once received from her own grandmother and now wishes you to have, or something along those lines? Even if you never receive it, you know she thought of you and wanted to leave you a bit of herself.

It was such a stark contrast before and after his confirmation. He was agreeing with a draw down before the confirmation meeting. Now he is supporting the surge all the way.

I have a child in Special ED and I am trying to sign him up for homeschooling. He is in the 9th grade and law requires you have a Bach. degree to homeschool 9-12. I only have an Assoc. degree but his current skills are only about 3-4 grade level. (He is capable of so much more, the reason i am removing him and wanting to school myself) I am not getting answers from the BOE about doing this, if anyone can help with some legalities on how i can remove him from school, any way possible. He is 15and we live in Tennessee if that helps. thanks in advance!

Free our 2 imprisoned Border Patrol Agents! This is a grave injustice!

This illegal, drug smuggling, criminal alien should stand trial for his crime against our men/country! This criminal piece of garbage is planning to sue our government for civil rights violations...

I sent my letter demanding the immunity be removed, and signed a petition to grant the pardon. I have also forwarded the petition to friends/family, and some of our men over seas who have no idea what has happened to the 2 agents. They have signed and passed it on to their fellow comrades....

Also, as of yesterday, 70+ congressmen have joined to have the pardon granted. These men have an awful lot of people on their side: 275000+. Justice has to be done somewhere. It will get done! They will be set free!

I'm asking you to join with me by clicking here for the full story and the petition: http://www.grassfire.org/142/petition.asp?PID=12408010&NID=1 Thanks

Hi :)

I posted this question in both the immigration and the military forum because my question is kinda part of both categories.
My name is Drew and I came the United States when I was 6 years old. I grew up in US and I joined the U.S. Marine Corps when i was 18 years old. I have been a permanent resident for a 14 years, and I've been a Marine for 2 of them. Until recently I never bothered to become an official citizen because it wasn't a priority. Now I think I would like to become one, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I was planning to talk with my CO but it's currently 0200 where I am. I tried reading up on the USCIS website, but I don't really know how to find the information I'm looking for. I was told that since I'm a member of the U.S. military my process to become a citizen will take less time. Is this true? Anyways, Any information somebody could provide me would greatly be appreciated

Thx

Question: I want your opinion?

Question Details: okay I have had enough of hearing from 2 faced politicians. I want opinions from americans..not democrats and not republicans..americans let me state my case and then give me your opinion. firstly front and center is winning this war in iraq and leaving iraq right..as fast as we can do this with a victory. since when did winning a war not mean victory front and center..seems the last time we really won a war straight up..mano ..a mano was the second world war..We accepted nothing less than total victory and it cost a hell of a lot of american and allied lives. remember there was no compromise..In germany if they got caught with a gun it was summary execution by the officer in charge. the germans adapted to this and a huge military repsence brought stability. We seems to have lowered our standars a lot havent we...now we are in a tough spot..cut and run or cowboy up and let the military do this cloves off!in other words **** OR FIGHT..

Why cant we have a wall like East Berlin had? People were scared to get close to it for fear of being shot, wouldn't that solve the problem? The gaurds could use "sandbag" rounds, and/or pit bulls. That would force people to enter the US legally.

What are your ideas for a stronger southern border?

"The [Bush] aide said that guys like me were 'in what we call the reality-based community,' which he defined as people who 'believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.' I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. 'That's not the way the world really works anymore,' he continued. 'We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality – judiciously, as you will – we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.'"
