It seems that you are quiet obsessed with liberals. Hmmmm?
While what President Clinton did was morally wrong. He didn't kill anyone. As an Independent, I in no way condone his actions.
bush on the other hand has caused thousands to die for "his" war. He has repeatedly shown himself to be a horrible president. I have no respect for any leader that will sacrifice others lives on a daily basis to accommodate his own selfish agenda.
I CANNOT in a MILLION years understand WHY you are so obsessed with slamming the liberals in your very hypocritical way, or why you idolize bush the way that you do after all the embarrassment he has inflicted upon this great country of ours.
People like yourself (radical) and politicians like bush are the reason why I choose to be an Independent. I am able to make decisions based on my beliefs and values, not the crazy notions of a ranting hypocritical group of extremist people.

I'm guessing as a right-wing conservative, you're familiar with your Bible...
David was described as "a man after God's own heart." Yet, he saw Bathsheba bathing in the moonlight and was so overcome with a lustful desire he went and intentionally put her husband on the front line of the battlefield... knowing that he would be killed. He set the man up for cold-blooded murder and he did it to feed his earlthy sexual desires.
Yet, David atoned for his sins and remained one of the most revered figures in the Bible.
But Bill Clinton is a male sl*t who is a liar and a fake. He has horrible character and he treats his wife like crap. Those are pretty much your exact words, right?
So what you're essentially saying is that Bill Clinton is not worth an inch of God's grace or God's mercy because he's a left-wing Liberal Democrat... is that right? I mean, am I hitting the nail anywhere near the head?
I guess the better question is why do conservatives idolize a moronic spoiled rich kid who nearly flunked out of college and who can barely speak in complete sentances?

Let me answer your question with a question. How can you be "one of Bush's biggest supporters", when it has been clearly documented time and time again, that he, in fact, is a two-faced liar?
That's the dangerous thing about video and audio. Once the words slip off your tongue, they're archived FOREVER. I can cite at least a dozen incidents when your wonderful president made a particular statement about an issue or situation and a year or so later contradicted himself or denied ever saying what he said. That's the tricky thing about being a liar: one needs to have a really good memory, which Bush obviously does not.
Furthermore, why do you Clinton-bashers persist with your crusade to discredit him? Even his most dedicated supporters admit that his behavior was dubious to say the least. Why do you Conservatives love to live in the past instead of dealing with "today" issues?
A president's legacy is generally written years after his term expires. Bush, no doubt, will go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever. And you can take that to the bank.

It's simple: I want an elected official to implement the economic and social policies that I think best serve the American people. His personal problems aren't mine to mind. I don't expect to vote for a saint, but a human. As long as he (or anyone else, for that matter) represents the best interests of the electorate and hasn't broken the law, they have my vote. When they stop serving the interests of the people and start to sell out to the lobbyists, or are _convicted_ of a crime, they need to pack and leave office.
For a politician, _morals_ translate into working hard at achieving what you promised, and not in not having extra-marital sex.

For the same reason others choose to idolize say Reverand Al Sharpton, Marion Barry, Arnold Schwarzenegger or anyone else who has had moral failings.
Also, you should remember that not everyone believes that violating your wedding vows (i.e., Monica Lewinsky affair) is relevent to your ability to lead a nation or do a specific job. They just don't see it as important. Roosevelt was at his mistress' house when he died and they needed to cover it up and Kennedy as well as Johnson carried on with other women in the White House.
If you can imagine not considering these things important to your assessment for a moment, you may understand why others don't see Clinton as evil.
Also, many people believe in forgiveness and redemption. I have had my own failings in my life and would hope that I not be judged on those failings alone but on my life as a whole.

He lied about a personal issue. And true, he lied under oath and deserved to be sanctioned. But his adultery is between him and his wife - it's none of your business.
Clinton was a far better president than Bush. He actually thought about issues, was informed and reached across the political aisle to form consensus. Your boy Bush is typical of the high society playboy drunk who has never had to take responsibiltiy for his actions, whether it was being a drunk and a dope head or running businesses into the ground or destroying this great country.
Give me straight talking Clinton anytime over a fool like Bush. Clinton's faults are from his own personal demons and do not, no matter how much you want them to, affect you.

I by no skill ought to stand John Lennon. I agree, he grew to become into an entire hypocrite. people who want to guard how he taken care of Julian, haven't any protection. He died with an assets of roughly $320 million and Cynthia and Julian lived on Public information. Lennon grew to become right into a creep, all good, yet what does this ought to do with Liberals???

first off, MORALS are relative to the person, your morals dictate that cheating is bad, god is good, and a serial killers morals are that skin tastes good. both are extreme, and neither is the correct way to live. The correct way is however you feel good about living.
Second, i liked Clinton because he was a good president, he helped many low income families, DIDNT kill thousands of soldiers and hundreds of thousands of middle eastern people. Worked hard on building the stepping stones for alternative fuels, and increased things like unemployment benefits and medicaid (that both of my parents lost when bush came into power) the fact that he got the job from lewinsky doesnt matter to me at all, heck if i saw bill i would hug him and say "way to go pimp"

Ok, RLP, let's take it again from the top, shall we?
I think what Bill did was just plain lame, but if you're going to get your shorts in a bundle over a BJ (I think BJs are in the job description, btw), and just cut Bush a pass for everything he's pulled...well...we have a failure to communicate, hon.
He's a "horrible character" and Bush is....what? Some kind of archetypal statesman? As compared to whom? John Kennedy? Tony Blair? You gotta be kidding me! Bush is a redneck - just like Bill - who was in the "right place at the right time."
Hon, if people like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura can get elected, your question about Clinton is...shall we say...redundant.
Clinton is no hero to me, but then, neither is Bush. Ok?
And one other thing I wanted to say. For someone who likes bringing up teaching Sunday School, you sure don't exhibit very Christian-like qualities with your epithets and slurs. I don't think Jesus would approve.....

And he is differs from the Republicans how? Check your history my dear, running the government and having sex are two different things...see: G. Washington, T. Jefferson, F. Roosevelt etc.
I agree with the French on so little, but I will give them this, when we were all making a big fuss over Monica, the French were laughing. They said if their president couldn't handle the govt., his wife and his mistress, he wouldn't be their president......touche'!!
As for Bill, he's the real deal. He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he was raised by a single mother...who he adored...nuff said!
