then why do they control the insurance for floods? And why do we tax payers fund the 'disaster preparedness' projects and the 'army corps of engineers'? Seems like once you have to actually take responsibiliity, no one thinks the government should get involved...

Are they so superficially brainwashed with whats on television they have lost touch with reality? Or did they never do their homework in school? I am talking about the one's who think its ok to hand-out millions of dollars to the corporate wealthy elite! But be damed if any poor get direct hand-outs! In trickle down economics the money never gets to the poor! http://www.usbig.net/ Our form of Capitalism sucks!

I applied for my fiance's visa and got the initial approval letter. it has a time frame on there from 12.27.06 to 04.27.07. Does this mean my fiance has to come to the united states by 4.27.07? Or does it mean that he has to get his Visa stamping and interview by then? If it means he has to get his visa stamping, how long is the stamping for?

Neo-cons can't resist their race based views on all things concerning blacks in America. They never use the term "White leaders" nor the "white community".

I am a registered Democrat - I control ALL the funds in this family. I have done a survey of women in my area - talked to 72 who are democrats - NOT ONE, INCLUDING MYSELF HAVE EVER RECEIVED COMMUNICATION FROM THE DEMOCRATIC CENTRAL COMMITTEE - YOU CAN JUST FORGET MONEY, YOU DON'T KNOW ME - I SURE AS HELL WON'T DONATE MY MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO WON'T RECOGNIZE ME AS A LIVING, BREATHING HUMAN BEING - AS THE SAYING GOES, "WE BROUGHT YOU INTO THIS WORLD AND WE CAN TAKE YOU OUT"

Yesterday, I was driving home from work when the vehicle in front of me to do a "brake check." Now I understand that some people do a brake check if someone is tailgating them or such but I was not... it was uncalled for. A mile later, this vehicle pulls over to the side of the road, let's me go by then proceeds to charge up from behind me... I pull over, he pulls over and attempts to ram the back of my vehicle.

I called the police and notified them of this but at the time I didn't have the license plate number. I found it to day on the floor of my car and called them back. I re-told them what happened and have him the license plate number.

What can the police do from this point on? I am really fearful of running into this person again.

BACKGROUND (in rough)
Glasnost and Perestroika ‘dismantled’ the Soviet Union, now C.I.S., in part due to the largely unknown subculture of the internet at the time.

The authorities severed conventional communications to the outside world prior and during the change over from Communism.

However, the Soviet authorities overlooked the internet and the ability of its people within select groups to pass messages about to garner support for change and warn pro-democratic countries of an impending revolution.

At the time, it was without certainty on how the Soviet bloc would emerge and if peacefully as did the Velvet Revolution (or the revolution not occur at all) or that Yeltsin was certain to come to power from Gorbachev.

Gorbachev was under house arrest for his security for fear of mob violence during the transition. Fortunately, the aftermath turned out to be peaceful. (Otherwise, this question could conceivably, by a long shot, be asked from a gulag.) (Continued..)

This is a serious question.

And do you not find it ironic that it took a scoundrel to even make the bid for a female president a possibility?

If we don't want to give them back any of their tax dollars to rebuild, that is fine (remember, they pay those tax dollars too) But should we keep taxing the hard working citizens of New Orleans to pay for rebuilding OTHER nations? The poor aren't the ones rebuilding, or running the stores. Those people haven't even moved back. I'm talking about tax paying citizens who have moved back and are rebuilding.

It was like a conversion in a church. When all those fat cats realized that combating Climate Change and researching alternative fuels could have an economic advantage and increase their poll numbers, they all jumped on the bandwagon?

What a bunch of syncophantic fair-weather idiots.

He can pay for their medical and dental and life insurance expenses also. It is his decision.

What, does he expect us to pay for his decisions?
