You know what? If it took that for them to finally "get it" so be it. I am just glad that our environment is being placed higher on the list of priorities.

sure each cutting-ingredient President has used a teleprompter, earlier that they did examine from arranged text textile. in certainty initially many presidents did no longer make an visual charm in front of Congress to grant the State of the Union yet submitted a written message, that's all that's Constitutionally required. some conservatives have criticized Obama because of the fact he looks to love utilising teleprompters lots greater then his predecessors, and not in user-friendly terms on the State of the Union. He has them set up at each occasion. of course each President has had notes while giving feedback, and it is accessible that Obama basically places his notes onto a teleprompter. If he had the previous-formed be conscious enjoying cards they probable does no longer even word.

Most politicians views can be easily swayed once money and votes are set before them on any issue. Take Israel for example, we all know they are committing acts of genocide and terror. But does that mean anything when AIPAC is shoveling money their way and threatening anyone who does not comply? No. Our government is in need of some serious change.

It's especially ironic since the programs Repuglicans support are just window dressing and don't really solve much any way, other than helping get more votes from farming states and helping oil companies get bigger subsidies.
But they can still claim to be environmentalists.
Pathetic.

i couldn't agree more. since they lost the control of congress the repubs are back-pedalling to make themselves appear more in-tune to the general populous... BUT, some repubs ARE genuinely concerned with the environment, the iraq war, etc. and are starting to voice their opposition to bush. FINALLY! but it's my opinion that a lot of them are doing it to become more 'electable' in 2008.
