Immigration.
Without solving this problem we would (eventually) be unable to solve any others.
Global warming is big too...but that will take the rest of the world, and not just the US.

I think Global warming and pollution standards because it effects our health, property insurance and energy availability in the future. It's a pretty big issue. With health alone, it effects rising asthma rates in children because of the level of pollution in the air. This pollution and co2 has been found to be linked to lung cancer and lymphatic cancers as well as Parkinson's disease. That's huge.

Honestly, the US most important issue......ITS PEOPLE......we are becoming a country of people that are afraid. Afraid say what we truly believe for fear of being sued....afraid to getting anything done because our politicians are afraid they are going to piss off some special interest group. We are a bunch of people who talk about less gov. but expect the gov to take care of all our problems. Its sad.
