I voted for Bush in 200, and 04. While I firmly believe he was the better choice in both elections, I have a gigantic axe or 2 to grind. I voted for a traditional conservative, and did not get one. He was too easy to convert to neo-conservatism, and for that he disappointed me.
That he signed the Mcain-Feingold act alone was a slap in the face of the 1st Amendment. Gov't centralization and expansion are at least on pace with the Clinton administration. Iraq is a contradiction to why I voted for him in 2000 where he(rightly) said "Nation building is not America's job." I don't believe I was lied to, BUT Iraq has morphed into just that.
He dropped the ball on social security reform promises of 2k4. The market will always do better than the gov't, and like King Midas,(sort of) everything they touch turns to crap.
The Republican party was handed gov't on a silver platter, and they blew it by appeasing the left. They deserved to lose in 06.

When people look back at the history of our great nation 100 yrs from now, I'm sure he will be looked upon as one of the GREATEST Presidents of all time...The moronic liberals won't be around to spread their pile of bs anymore! He stood up against terrorists, took Saddam down, held strong to his ethics and gave the whole country a tax cut, (not just the rich like the idiots like to say - I didn't see anyone refusing to cash the refund checks we all got a few years ago)

Well our Homeland Security is bogus when terrorists can legally enter, live, train to fly and bypass our most important defense site. Oh but we're safe now and our troops are fighting terrorists in ME. I am trying to maintain my hope that US GOVT has the 1200 terrorists groups here in over 40 states/weapons issue under control. We all need to find this out as this is similiar how they invaded Lebanon & France, OR are we going to wait til its too late--for the last time?

He is a good President, here's why:
No attacks on our soil sine 9/11
Foiled many attacks, and more that we didn't hear off
Went after terrorists, and made al-Qaeda less of a threat
>Something that should have been done after the Iranian Hostage Crisis
The economy is doing very well
Price of oil is falling
Housing market has been good
Unemployment is low
No Child Left Behind Act is working, as scores are rising
the PATRIOT ACT

I think that President Bush has been a terrific President, and stands head & shoulders over the scandals of his predecessor.

He lied to Congress and the American people about his reasons for invading Iraq.
His "no child left behind" education policy is a dismal failure.
He outlawed online poker playing.
He has the vocabulary of a drunk 6 year old.

He's done little for the citizens of our country, and he continues to ignore the fact that he works for us, the people of the United States. One would think that he sould be listening to what we the people want, not whatever he and cheney come up with in their sick deranged minds.
