I hear people saying we don't need this war
I say there's some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this piece of ground?
We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down
They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in
Before you start preaching
Let me ask you this my friend

CHORUS 1
Have you forgotten how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

They took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it's too disturbing for you and me
It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say
If it was up to me I'd show it every day
Some say this country's just out looking for a fight
After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right

CHORUS 1
Have you forgotten how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And we vowed to get the ones behind Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

I've been there with the soldiers
Who've gone away to war
And you can bet that they remember
Just what they're fighting for

CHORUS 2
Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Yes, some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?

I was thinking about all these studies that "educated professionals" conduct in the US, and it occurred to me that so many of them are nothing but a waste of money. Taxpayer's money, no less.
Come on. Who with common sense needs a study to understand that the majority of accidents occur at home, a place where you spend 3/4 of your day?
Or that it would cost 10 million dollars to map the genetics of a tree?
Go figure that the people most likely to be in an automobile accident JUST SO HAPPEN to be young males, that everyone knows think they're virtually immortal anyway.
Or, how about, studies that tell us how these studies are a waste of money? Isn't that just a LITTLE hypocritical?

So, my final question is, shouldn't US citizens be allowed to vote on what studies their money is blown on? Maybe something a little more useful than the danger of kitchen knives?

Ron Paul is a Republican Congressman from Texas. He is a true conservative, not a neoconservative.

He believes:

Rights belong to individuals, not groups.
Property should be owned by people, not government.
All voluntary associations should be permissible -- economic and social.
The government's monetary role is to maintain the integrity of the monetary unit, not participate in fraud.
Government exists to protect liberty, not to redistribute wealth or to grant special privileges.
The lives and actions of people are their own responsibility, not the government's.

"There are few people in public life who, through thick and thin, rain or shine, stick to their principles. Ron Paul is one of those few."

BTW, I am in no way affiliated with Ron Paul or the Republican Party.

I'm not even a Republican, but I would vote for Ron Paul.

Mr. Bush keeps warning of a great catastrophe that would happen if we leave Iraq but he nor his supporters ever define what that might be. Will Iraq's new army load up on the navy ships, that they don't have, and attack us here in retalliation for what we have done to them for the past 16 years? Will terrorists actually follow our soldiers back to this country and walk right through Customs and Immigration with their weapons and start killing Americans by the thousands? Wouldn't that mean that Mr. Bush has done nothing worth while to protect us from terrorist attacks since 9-11? Will Iran invade Iraq even if we tell them not to and take over Iraq? Will the Iraqi people allow their country to become a terrorist training base even though they did not allow such activity under Saddam's rule? Will Iraq stop selling us olives? Or is the catastrophe Bush so fears that Iraq will not let OUR oil companies control THEIR oil, and Bush won't get his speaking fees from them as his reward?

I don't understand why so many people can hate Bush for the war in Iraq, and the war on terrorism, when he's trying to stop those who have been attacking not only there own people, but the whole world. Maybe I'm just misinformed but it seems that you hate the man who is trying to stop those responsible for 9/11, eliminate terrorism, and liberate countries who have been under dictator rule for several years. And don't tell me we're over there for oil, because gas prices are just as high as ever, and don't even think about mentioning weapons because chemical weapons were found in Iraq. Oh and don't say, "Think about the families of the soldiers who haven't seen there loved ones in months!!" I have a brother over there right now, and I couldn't be more proud that he's over there helping do something no liberals could do. So yeah, please help me to understand why you guys think the war in the middle east is a bad thing because clearly I don't understand what you people are thinking.

We know there are at least TWO private sector videos of what hit the Pentagon and that the FBI confiscated them. Since this war on terror is being fought by our sons and daughters and since there is compelling, yet circumstantial as it may be, evidence that raises a lot of questions about who really attacked the Pentagon, I believe it is only prudent for the public to see the confiscated video recordings. After all, it's no secret what the government has said happened, so why then should it remain a secret as to who actually did it?

So, in a most sincere and serious manner I ask the following question:

How would someone go about FORCING the Government to release the confiscated video taped evidence of the ACTUAL happenings regarding the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon?

I am not asking for anything but an answer to my question. Comments on how wrong or crazy I am for asking are not being solicited.

People keep saying the Congress voted to go to war.
How can anyone hold them to a decision that was made from fraudulent intel? Many in the Republican Party are now realizing this was wrong and we are on the wrong course! When will the rest of Americans who stand behind a dictator see the truth?
I know it's difficult but sometimes you just have to admit when you're wrong!
