When Florida is under water, and superstorms are more commonplace. So far, dying oceans and melting polar ice haven't made much of an impression, as most of those prospering now seem to be living under the maxim of grab what you can while the grabbing is good. And our science education is so lame that most people don't get that the planet is one integrated system. What happens at the poles will effect everyone more and more, and it seems it will take even more drastic consequences than we already have to wake most people up.

Hopefully never. The premise of your question suggests that humans are a cancer on this planet. I know that people do the best that they can given their own circumstances. No one is truly 'green'. Look at your shoes or house or any thing you enjoy, your computer. Do you realize how many "damaging" chemicals are used to create your little computer. Come down off your high horse and live in the real world. Do what makes since and works with your situation. I think you need to watch 'An Inconvenient Truth' again. When you are done again look up the facts about his lie of a movie on your computer. Just one example of his false facts is the graph he shows on the CO2 level and the temperature increase. The truth is that the CO2 rise happens AFTER the temperature starts to increase. His graph is covering such a large amount of time that the details are lost. There are ton more but you have most like already made up your mind and never mind the science. There is no consensus in science.

Everyone is a big word. There will be always someone against something even if this something is right. It's human nature. Now i don't really think that greens will ever be the majority because of their style and because they tell you to do things while other politics want you as you are. I feel concerned about ecological issues but i enjoy my car, my steaks, and my cigarettes:) I will never let any green zealot take that away from me.

We will all vote green when we're forced to vote that way by the Jolly Green Tyrant. I don't trust socialists, especially when they claim they're doing it for "the environment". If we have to give up our freedom so that the world can be free of pollutants, we might as well go back to being monkeys. Maybe that's the answer, afterall. If everyone was dirt poor we would create no pollution except for our own feces.

They will vote Green when the promoters pitch their solution in economically viable terms. As long as the Green are saying kill the economy they will be voted down. In truth the environment would be in even worst shape if the economy collapsed. There would be no fund to dispose waist properly!

Nope. Will never vote green. Why? Too many of them are extremists. Give me some moderate, achievable, doable ideas and sure, I am in.
I don't believe we could possible have a big enough effect on the planet to change much of anything. I don't have that big of an ego. We're like mold on a wall to mother earth, not very menacing. We're not even a nuisance, well most of us aren't anyway.

Never. While there probably are a large number of Green party members genuinely concerned about the environment. There are a large number of them that are not. Their chief objective is to make war on the idea of individualism. The environmental movement is the last refuge of the communist. They really should change their name from the Greens to the Reds.

Too many people are still in denial about the environment. I do a little, but I hope to do more in the future.
