Should we have affirmative action for people from a foreign country who immigrate to America? Currently if you move to America you can claim to be a member of a minority group when you are applying for jobs, school, grants, etc. Is there any justification for this?

So the Republicans here are saying the 80% of the population is wrong about the Bush Administration. It is the 20% that are the intelligent people that "get it". The 80% of the American People should listen to the Republican 20% because they are the smart ones. And get this; George Walker Bush is their leader and example of the intelligence of the 20%.

"How smooth must be the language of the whites, when they can make right look like wrong, and wrong like right." From Black Hawk, Sauk

"The white people, who are trying to make us over into their image, they want us to be what they call "assimilated," bringing the Indians into the mainstream and destroying our own way of life and our own cultural patterns. They believe we should be contented like those whose concept of happiness is materialistic and greedy, which is very different from our way.
We want freedom from the white man rather than to be intergrated. We don't want any part of the establishment, we want to be free to raise our children in our religion, in our ways, to be able to hunt and fish and live in peace. We don't want power, we don't want to be congressmen, or bankers....we want to be ourselves. We want to have our heritage, because we are the owners of this land and because we belong here.
The white man says, there is freedom and justice for all. We have had "freedom and justice," and that is why we have been almost exterminated. We shall not forget this."

I'm an hourly at will employee in the state of California. I want to know if my employer can demand I use my PTO benefit rather then just accept no pay.

I want to know if it's my legal right to accumulate and save my PTO in the event of an emergency. As an hourly employee a week of no pay could financially devastate me. Is it legal to not allow me to save my PTO and just accept no pay when I have to go to the dentist or the dr?

As it is my PTO is being whittled away by routine preventative health maintenance. As an hourly full time employee, shouldn't I have the choice to take no pay or use PTO to cover a Dr's appointment, 1-2 days of sickness etc?

Cheney knowingly use fake intelligence to scare American people into making them the national hero and jump into preempted war.

One crime led to the next, the White House Three should eventually get their justice and put in prison with Ann Coulter.

Note: yes, I know I am dreaming.

I keep hearing how we stole mexican land. If they are talking about the mexican-american war then there stupid. It took place over a hundred years ago. It was a short war with not alot of casualties. We did offer the mexicans a fair amount of money. Do you think other countries cry about land they lost in wars that took place over hundred uyears ago. Then mexicans say how proud they are for defeating the french or spanish or whatever, you couldn't beat good-old USA. And its not like you dont have enough land. Get over it. mexicans are just coming here and infestating the land we won in the war.

You know those whacky leftwingers; they're always coming up with some goofball beliefs like Marxism, Scientology and the like. But it appears that a new cult may be becoming founded as we speak:

George Clooney stated: "If Senator Obama became ‘Presidential Candidate Obama’ it would be the most electrifying thing to happen to the Democratic party since (President John F.) Kennedy."

Rob Reiner has compared his run for office to Abraham Lincoln's presidency.

Halle Berry has said she'd "collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear" for this new messiah.

Isn't what the Republicans are doing more of a threat to America than Iran or Iraq. They give tax breaks to oil companies. They spy on people. They question the patriotism of those who disagree. They have this unquenchable desire to tell people how to live and what to do.

Many Americans have the wrong idea about your system. Can you help to dispel these myths? You have to wait months for cat scans. Health care raises your taxes way up, and any other thing that you can add to the discussion would be appriciated.
