You know those whacky leftwingers; they're always coming up with some goofball beliefs like Marxism, Scientology and the like. But it appears that a new cult may be becoming founded as we speak:

George Clooney stated: "If Senator Obama became ‘Presidential Candidate Obama’ it would be the most electrifying thing to happen to the Democratic party since (President John F.) Kennedy."

Rob Reiner has compared his run for office to Abraham Lincoln's presidency.

Halle Berry has said she'd "collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear" for this new messiah.

Obama has never come up with an original idea so far, so how can anyone sing his praise the way they do. Nevertheless, the left tends to fall for any new fad, so why not ? Isn't that why they are on the Left anyway, they are easily swayed. Sort of like chasing fireflies at dusk, fun to play at but not too responsible. Ask every lib you meet, "How are you going to pay for that"? and they will always come up with raise the taxes on the evil rich people.

I only wish they could get some enthusiasm about the fair tax and the libertarians!

When Obama gets an Idea, call me!

How such an unqualified person can electrify the party's supporters so much indicates how weak their party's candidates truly are.

His time in the Senate has been spent voting along party lines. His time in the Illinois legislature portrays him as a typical neo-liberal.

He is the type the Hollywood set adores. Maybe he won't charge them as much to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom as Billary did.

Honestly, I dont care, I've lost faith in both political parties

Both are simply sheep, voting for who theyre told, without knowing anything about the canidate

From what I've heard Obama is one of the better canidates the left has, Honestly, I think people should just vote for canidates and not parties.. (And to all the stupid people who keep saying Clinton is going to run...No, she's not, the democrats arent that stupid, they know she's unelectable)

This liberal isn't a fan of Marxism and is very VERY opposed in almost all possible ways to Scientology.

And I have no feelings one way or the other about Obama. To tell you the honest truth, I don't know enough about the man.

But thanks for revealing your amusing misunderstanding of what a "cult" really is.

That may or may not be so in Hollywood, you only site three examples, but I doubt that is the case throughout the Liberal ranks of this nation. Aren't you jumping to conclusions?

Once your "party" can overcome the crippling infamy the illegal preemptive war with no strategy has put you in then maybe you can stop being jealous and stop whining about a quality candidate.

No. He's just a guy running for office. Neoconservativism is a cult/ fad/ religion that is on its way out, however. Tried it, didn't like it.
