At the risk of sounding cynical... An incredibly diverse pool of obscenely wealthy individuals, from a broad field of two parties, who's core beliefs are dictated by polls and lobbiests. They started pandering for your meaningless vote a few weeks ago.

But wait... There's good news whether your a democrat or republican. John Kerry will not be one of them.

Well, since the Primaries, Caucaus, and Conventions have not yet been held... it's hard to know. And don't forget that there are dozens of parties OUTSIDE the two main parties

Information about who has FILED with the FEC (Federal Elections Commission) for the 2008 Presidential Campaign is at this link : http://www.fec.gov/press/bkgnd/pres_cf/2008filings.html

I will be filing myself later next month.

FYI, when refering to the Office of the Presidency of the United States... you use a capitol "P". And you RUN for The Presidency or to serve as The President

There are about 9 who have openly thrown their hat in, but there are more coming out here soon. Get ready, it's gonna get ugly.
