Nope. It's two terms period. However, there is a slight loophole in that if a former president runs on a ticket as vice-president, and then the president is incapacitated, then the former president would still be next in the line of succession.

No. The limit is a total of 2 full terms or 10 years, whether consecutive or not

Nope, tradtion got to keep, only have 8 year to be idiot at most, and if your really dumb leader 4 years. Well, Mexico gives ya sexato six years to screw things up. Well, after FDR they did made a rule of only 2 terms for President.

Actually, FDR wasn't the only exception. Any president before him could have run for a third term if he wanted to. He was the first to choose to do so. Congress had nothing to do with it. After Truman came in, the Constitution was amended to disallow running for a third term for all presidents after Truman.

No killer klingon up untill FDR no president chose to break the tradition set by George Washington that no one should serve more than two terms. FDR chose to run for a third term and won thanks to that we got Harry Tuman for pres. when FDR died in his third term. We have had no other pres. as good as Truman in as much as he ended WW2 and saved over a million live by use of the atom bomb. Congress passed the law that returned the terms to only two.

No they cannot. Two terms is the limit. The only exception was for Franklin Delano Roosevelt during Word War 2, because congress did not want to change leaders during such a dangerous time.
