What happened to my party? My party used to show strong leadership in times of doubt. Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Harry Truman, and even JFK were true leaders. They knew how to stand up for what they believed was right even if it was unpopular at the time. Our party has been taken over by a bunch of spineless cowards who cower in the face of the enemy. How did the hippies manage to take over a once great party that had strong ideals and was able to bring the country together? I'm ashamed to tell people that i'm democrat, they have become an embarrassment. I don't know if anyone else in my party thinks like this anymore, but i know the party has left me behind.

I thought it was a mistake to invade Iraq before we had created a functioning government in Afghanistan and captured Osama bin Laden. Afghanistan is as much of a basket case now as it was when we entered it. The Taliban are back, armed to the teeth with money raised from heroin poppies. Now, we have two battles to fight instead of one.

Women in the military in the not so long ago past? It is foul and hard to believe but that is the nature of the beast in our species, but my question is with over 200,000 women in the military today, is it getting better? There is some corruption in everything and the pressure is so high that the stress build up has to be enormous especially in wartime? Please express your feelings of women in the military today and feel free to speak? We all need to know the truth, in order to improve our thoughts about it as well.

I was divorced from my childrens father in Michigan in 1999, at the time I was moving to Alabama and thought it in the best intrest not to uproot the children from everything familiar. I moved back up north about a 2 hour drive from where they were living about a year later. He calledtold me the kids wated to live with me and he would allow it but he wouldn't sign over custody. We went on like this for some time until one day he decided to keep my son. I told him I'd fight for custody or we could come to an agreement. The agreement we decidedon is I would get custody of our daughter and he would keep custody of our son. We moved back to our home town shortly after this to be close to Aaron (my son) which would allow for easy visitation. Shortly after thishe move to Illinois. About 6 months after his he called me and said Aaron wanted to live with me and he would sign over custody if I would agree to sign paperwork saying he would'nt have to pay child support.

PLEASE READ PART 1 FiRST! THANKS!
I agreed and now have sole custody of both children. I moved my family to Texas about 3 years ago and Their father has hardly contacted them at all at most 2-3 times a year. Hit or miss on holidays and birthdays. Recently I filed for and have been granted child support. Now he is filing for custody, saying I am unfit because I am on disability for bipolar disorder. I do have this illness but I am treating it and I can take care of day to day life. My home is clean, my kids are well fed and dressed and they are happy well adjusted children for the most part. neither child wants to move in with Dad they are 15 and 11. I am getting remarried in A few weeks I am so upset and I'm sure I left out so many details , but I could go on for days with all the details, now you at least have an idea. Please any input on how this will go.....

We live in mass and it seems like no matter what you do you can't truly rehabilitate-he is incredibly smart and such a good person-you would never know he had a past-its the typical story of being a product of poverty and not really having a choice...does anyone know any advocasy organazations or websites or anyplace you can refer us to for info on this? its soo discouraging-i mean why do people think a record is the only way to know someone-the world is filled with pediphiles,criminals and morally corrupt people that may not have a black mark on their record by chance but destroy everything they touch. I would appreciate any feedback-please don't give me any negative or judgmental comments I don't want the discouragment please...thanx so much!!

I live in an apt building and have a idiot above me for a neighbor. Loud noises all times of night, heavy stomping etc, running through the apt and such after midnite, etc...My question is, I am moving due to his actions as well as some of his friends he has over. Can he be sued for moving expenses and/or the increase in rent I will be paying? There is also harrasement on his and his friend part which is on tape. The location is Maryland. Thanks

Yes we would all like to believe that we are electing that type of person, and when we don't we have to face it. And get this aren't they all acting anyway? Or do you believe they are so honest and loyal to us the lowly we the people? We keep playing with this theory following the leader like they are some type of God? They arent they put their pants on the same way , and they are not a super human, it is the public that inflateds that situation in their heads. And that is just crazy. It is one thing to pick someone that makes mistakes? But this is an outrage, these are not mistakes these are catastrophic insults and injuries done to the American People, and Government. We will not be able to pull out of this death,debacle, and disasters easily? Do you get that? Are you seeing the problem here in this country? How do you weasel out of this one? Just change seats and rename the presidency with a new name? The next president is going to catch all the Brunt from Bush.
