Bush's latest policy is to set up a confrontation with Iran. He doesn't care about Iraq, except for the fact that it has a lot of oil, and he does not want that to fall into the wrong hands. What he will do is attack Iran on the border, accusing them of trying to destroy his plans for Iraq, and then he can take out the last oil state that is not a friend or under our control. That has been the goal all along, and an unstable Iraq is necessary for this to happen.

Nothing. He says that it is a new policy, it isn't. The purpose of the whole enterprise is to get contractors into the country and feed them tax dollars. The war has never been properly supplied to win. It's a political vehicle. He doesn't care at all about the death and suffering of human beings over there. Not much different than Vietnam, which he slept thru but supported.
