I just saw a question answered from some gal about what if we had refused to fight a war. Her answer was what if we had refused to fight in WWII. When fighting any war, hopefully a little thought will be used before we get involved. There are wars, which can be thought of as righteous war, and there are those, which are blatantly political wars that have no valid reason for another Nation to be there with bombs and guns. Daddy Bush vowed to get Saddam and he did, with the loss of over 3000 of our soldiers. There was never any doubt about Afghanistan and we should have done more there in chasing and killing bin Ladin. It was nothing more than a good excuse to run next door and grab the guy who dared to stand up against Daddy Bush. Hussein was a butt end but it had nothing to do with 9/11. We should have stopped Bush from sending troops to Iraq in the very beginning and many wanted just that. What if we had refused to fight in Vietnam?

of Harvard? So What ? What was his Grade point average? Duh? And how did he concentrate inbetween burps or booze? He could not ever get into Law School, and he has no Common Sense?
Mental deficiency for sure, but he makes a good puppet, not a believable one like some so that is worse? Harvard for him? Who paid for that diploma? Everything he talks about all surrounds around the terrorist thing? Don't you want to tell him to get the needle off the record?

Abraham Lincoln once stated that "only brutal aggression could subdue the rebellion."

Do you think the same applies to the Iraq war?

Is that true?? Please if any one have any idea let me know..and if that is true then what else I should study!!!

National Bureau Investigation, should be on the national bureau and not on civil cases...
They should be tackling the 'Graft and Corruptions' in cooperations with the Commision On Audit. So many Bureau unsolved cases and they could not focus into it like the cases on COMELEC, NAVY, ARMY, POLICE, MEDIA KILLINGS and PRESIDENTIAL MANIPULATIONS, AND OTHERS. WHEN WILL THEY DO THEIR JOB AND TELL THEIR STORIES IN THE PRESS? CONFERENCE?

DUH, OF COURSE THEY DO YOU IDIOT LIBERALS

The vast majority of soldiers are conservatives, even those who come from poor families. We really don't need Liberal crocodile tears pretending to care about our family members when we know that you really celebrate when you hear about their deaths.

We are pcs'ing here in a couple of months and want to move to army base housing (our preference bc it's just easier that way) and we are looking to moving to an installation with upgraded housing or even better, new housing..(far stretch I know). The current base housing we are at is 'upgraded', but the foundation is falling apart and our roof consistently leaks, so preferably something better than that. Any ideas?

Don't get me wrong, I believe it is too, however, it lends to my point of this.

If it is a bad thing because it takes away American jobs, do you think it's a good thing that Walmart in Chelan, WA was not allowed to open?

More than 200 people were employed by Walmart (3,522 people in the 2000 census) in the small town of Chelan, WA. The store payed more than the courthouse did. Why are those people being forced out of jobs that pay better than the small businesses do?

Don't the people have a right to work for good money? I understand that small business owners have a right to operate too, but at the expense of people who won't be employed by them?

And don't people have the right to save money on goods and services? Small business owners can't pass savings along to customers without losing out themselves.

It seems that some people are constantly trying to connect the war in Iraq with terrorism.

Bush seems to always mention terrorism and the war in the same breath. He seems to want us to think that prosecuting this war is equal to fighting terrorism.

And we're now often hearing that if we continue the with the war, that it will keep the terrorists over there, and they will be less likely to come to the U.S.

Critics of the Iraq war say that the war has "created 10,000 Bin Ladens"

So what's the truth? What, if any, is the connection between the war in Iraq and the War on Terror?

I strongly disagree with the people that alway's asume that rape is a act of power, yes power is part of it i'm sure, but not all of it, since there has been many accurances in history where there was masses of rape, could we say every man that took part in a act of rape was looking just to over power someone, and surely they must get some sexual gratification out of it, from most victim's point of view rape is about power, but from the perpetrator's point of veiw i,d imagene it would be some what different.
