Iraq would feel very unsatisfied, wonder if it was because they were old, or ugly, or fat, and try talking and talking to the US to understand why, but as the US rolled over and went to sleep Iraq would become more upset and hostile and try to steal the covers and put its cold feet in the US's back.

Finally the tension would take over and Iraq would explode, and as the US left for the sofa, Iraq would tear itself apart and have a good cry. Finally Iraq would start calling its mother and sister, and friends to ask what they did wrong and to complain about how the US wronged it and everyone would have conflicting opinions. Some might even come over and try to meddle in Iraq's problems themselves.

Iraq eventually upon hitting bottom would stop listening to anyone but themselves, pick up the pieces and try to start over.

That country historically has been a mess, still is a mess, and after the Americans leave Irak, it will be still a mess. If the US leave Irak, nothing will change, that country is full of animals, beasts, terrorists, all that will still the same. For them we are the "evils" and they are the good ones. They have a totally different culture and points of view and lifestyle than we do.

I don't think we have acomplished much there, after we leave there, that country still be the same, or even worse. Saddam Hussein is gone, the threat of building an atomic bomb he wanted during 30 years is not a threat anymore, but yet after this someone else will come probably as bad as him. - Just let them blow themselves, that country, and the entire region of the world will be forever a mess, nobody can't control them, so be it...let them be.

While it is true that Afghanistan was for the Soviet Union their Vietnam, Irak could be in my humble opinion, the U.S. second Vietnam.

Continued civil war between Shi'a and Sunni, breed more terrorists, it's Osama all over again. Thank you, "circle-of-life" Disney metaphor.

Besides, the US military has 14 permanent bases in Iraq. They're getting ready to kick stuff up with Iran. Latest will probably be August. Who knows what BS this administration will pull to instigate a war?

The Liberal left in the United States would be overjoyed.

Iraq would fall into chaos and civil war. The United States would loose international standing and respect and be known as a "Paper Tiger and toothless"

I sincerely think the violence will stop.Because Shites will be afraid that if they continue with death squads the Saudi Arabians and Jordan will send in their troops and shites will be banished from Iraq.Right now it is basically revenge killings that are taking place in Iraq. But I could be wrong only God knows the truth that what will happen.

Complete instability of Iraq because they're not prepared. I'd give them a week before total gov. collapse and then the Taliban would take over. Shortly after that, we could expect another attack.
