How about if you knew he had only two years experience in national (federal) government? How about if you knew he got his education at a Muslim school in Indonesia? How about if you knew both his father and his step-father were Muslims? How about if you knew he wanted the US to cut-and-run from Iraq and the War On Terror?

I'm in WI and was wondering if anyone knew the laws regarding workplace bullying? This would include acts such as 3rd party harrassment, slander and intimidation.

If these people cant govern themselves then the whole place would be lighting up . Either we are recieving insufficient reports to the severity of the insurgency in other parts of the country or maybe these people are capable of governing themselves .

If I was to say: Okay, what are the top 3 problems that must be overcome to have a peaceful and crime-free community? What would you say. What is the plan to get things right?

Further if we wanted to improve efficiency of society, how would we do that?

I'm sorry Bush. But I think it is time to pull the troops out. I have supported you throughout the years but lately I have been thinking, do we really need to spend more time and money in Iraq?

Even just recently I commented that I thought sending in more troops would probably help us wrap this war up and put an end to it.

But my husband and I were talking about it and we think that basically America is not fighting a country, we are fighting a belief. Terrorism is a belief. It would be like someone come over here and trying to wipe out all of the Christians.

There is something symbolic between Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Both instances, we were attacked. Both instances we retaliated. Both instances, we basically got what we went for (with 9/11 = Saddam). But what more are we fighting for? We can't wipe out all terrorists.
We need to set up a strong hold in Iraq and keep our presences there but move our troops out. Like what we have done in Germany.

Do you agree? Yes? No? Why?

Hello all.. I am considering joining the army and am interested in 33W as a MOS. I read from some other answers here that entering the army through OCS instead of through the enlisted soldier route means that you will get assigned as the army needs you, and you will not get to pick your MOS no matter what your scores are, or how you rank during OCS. I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and I really want to avoid being placed in a job that wont make use of this. Can anyone please confirm this or offer advice? Thank you.

Just look at the social mess our country is in right now. We can either admit we've done wrong and begin to clean up our messes, or we can pull a Roman Empire and continue to sink further into our own filth.

Or rather, would it make it easier if one was super-tough to survive daily life in the armed forces. I have always played with the idea of joining up, but never did because I was unsure what kind of people I would meet, whether the brotherhood is real or would I just be an outsider treated with hostility.

I really want to know-- what were your expectations and realities when you joined the armed forces? Any regrets? I don't come from a military family background, so I am new to any of this.

Thank you.

I think it works better in theory than in practice. The book Animal Farm explained it perfectly. Semi-socialism could though(if you consider free health care semi-socialist).
