They could, but it would be down to your local authority Env health dept. Noise nuisance was taken away from police powers some time ago. most local auth do not have an an call env health officer so if they are being a nuisance during the evening you would have to send in numerous reports before they will come and investigate

I wonder if you are a muslim.
This question quite often comes up in relation to mosques, when the muezzins are calling the faithful to prayer.
I would say if you live near a church then you should be prepared to hear a church choir occasionally., BUT in the UK, islam is a foreign culture and no- one wants to listen to that racket.
Hope this answers your question.

definite in the experience that they do no longer appreciate the privateness of the neighbourhood. in the experience that they are too loud then they're typically accused of causing disturbance to the generic public. the very shown actuality that that is a Church choir doe no longer supply them the right to reason a breach of the peace by ability of noisy worship.

If it was only singing...it wouldn't be too bad...but the loud speaker system pumping out heavy base; early on Sunday mornings is the annoying thing.

Hi Ghalib,
Yes, it is possible. You have a right to the quiet enjoyment of your property. How successful you would be in court is another matter.

highly doubtful, unless you're not singing choral music. Choral music doesn't tend to annoy people, I've noticed, it's loud popular music (rock, rap, pop, etc). Church music and choral music is generally very soothing :)
