If these people cant govern themselves then the whole place would be lighting up . Either we are recieving insufficient reports to the severity of the insurgency in other parts of the country or maybe these people are capable of governing themselves .

Blood sells.

they cant sell the rest of Iraq because it goes against what the anti-war crowd claim is happening. and the terrorists know Baghdad is where the cameras are.

Yes there is still violence that happens outside Baghdad but it is not as common as in the city.

If people actually saw how most of the country is in relative peace, that the Kurds actually honor our troops, that work is being done to fix Iraq then the far left could not scream "Quagmire!" "pointless!" "blood for oil!" and "We are destroying Iraq!"

consider the sources and the possible out come if people actually knew the truth.

listen to interviews with soldiers they almost always say "you should see the progress here." but we never do, why?

It does not sell and it does not feed the anti-war beast.
