I am amazed that so many would vote for this man just because he isn't a Bush or a Republican. Or to prove they are not racist. I realize that it is very PC to support this well spoken, good-looking black Democrat, but is he the best choice to lead America.
First of all, he has very little experience in government, his issues blow with the wind. He really has no hard fast beliefs and tends to go where he thinks the polls go. He may be a very good person and may end up being a major figure in America's political future, but I would not bet my future on someone that is an unknown.
I may not agree with many of the other candidates, but at least I know their stands on the issues and where they will lead America. As much as I cringe at the thought of Hillary becoming President, I would vote for her before Obama.

Glad to see that the corporate propaganda campaign is so very successful.
Discount a candidate because of his middle name, and what school he attended when he was a child.
His lack of experience in the federal corruption syndicate is most definitely his biggest selling point for me.
Bush's grandfather was a Nazi supporter, and sanctioned because of his illegal actions to support Hitler, but we are supposed to be concerned because Obama's father and step-father were law abiding Muslims?
The only way to secure peace after an occupation by military force is to withdraw the occupying force.
Our missions as stated by this administration, have all been completed. There are no WMD, the Iraqi people have democratically elected an American puppet government, and Saddam has been deposed and killed.
The only part of the mission left unfinished is the withdrawal of all forces from Iraq. This is not cut and run, it is the normal, logical conclusion to any military campaign.
The only reason to stay in Iraq would be if the stated objectives were lies and the real plan all along was to control the country and it's oil supplies.
Luckily, Bush's blind supporters are in the minority.
The only silver lining to the war in Iraq is that the administration's continued demonstrated incompetence has awakened the normally silent majority of non-republicans in this country.

I would never vote for him. I'm sorry, but he doesn't have enough experience, I don't care about his name, his religion or anything else, but he does not have enough experience to be the president; especially since he thinks we should run away from Iraq, we did that the first time and look where it got us, nowhere...if we run away with our tails between our legs right now then we haven't accomplished anything and the war on terror will become like Vietnam, where all the men and women who died over there died in vain, for nothing. If we run away now then we are not honoring our country or military, we are harming them and saying that we don't have the balls to finish the job. We have marines, the few the proud, if we ran away from iraq, they would be the few, the quitters, we shouldn't let that happen, so if voting for someone like this guy would make that happen then he is anti-american and anti soldier.

OF COURSE I WOULD VOTE FOR OBAMA!
I don't understand how YOU voted for the idiot that put us in this pointless, purposeless, resource draining war. The same dick that has sent the economy to hell, made gasoline an expensive commodity, but the dollar a worthless novelty, didnt have sense enough to drop an inflatable raft in one of his own hurricane ridden states, but donated MILLIONS to tsunami victims a whole world away.
Barack Obama wrote a book, and though he has accomplished WAY more, that action alone puts him miles ahead of the C student fratboy we call a president.
Who cares where he went to school- HE WENT TO SCHOOL!
Who cares how many years of experience he has-HE HAS EXPERIENCE!
And if every troop that watched a comrade die a senseless death over a senseless war had the choice to join OBAMAS view and "cut & run" i bet that war would have a few thousand LESS troops.
Get Real!

absolutely not in no way will I ever vote for a muslim as a politician in this country. I am 36 and have never voted. I am how ever a veteran and served in iraq and the middle east several years on the war front against terror and for the first time in my life i have registered to vote for the simple fact to make it a point to vote against obama and hillary clinton. I will vote for anyone in the republican party even bush again who I think was a mistake for the country but no one was better that was running at the time. If these 2 people are elected as president the united states and all that we have acheived will be no more they both are devils and have all the charisma and charm and evil ways as the devil lucifer himself. Study these 2 canidates well and look what they represent. what is going on in Iran right now and global warming is the most important things to the future of the united states If iran gets nuclear weapons the united states will be erased we are first on there agenda and israel is second.

he isn't nationalizing banks and lending institutions - he's attempting to repair them so they could resume with lending and giving credit. He does not decide for a single payer device like Canada. He could set up the united states as a international chief no longer a gung ho bully. The economy replaced into ruined in the previous he stepped in workplace. certainty. he's attempting to rebuild it and make is SUSTAINABLE. the only thank you to rebuild the dollar is to take a place, REINVEST, and make investments some greater in our us of a. meaning you could could spend funds with the intention to strengthen centers which interior the top will help in reducing our deficit. Its no distinction then disposing of a private loan for a employer so which you would be able to set up your agency then finally turn a income. the 2nd exchange isn't a top as pronounced by using your STATE rules. that's a regulated PRIVILEGE. in case you pass to prison you lose your rights to possess a gun. i'm pleased with having weapons yet they could be regulated. no person desires an attack rifle. Obama has in no way tried to divide on race he tried to hold it mutually. The GOP has used race as at the instant using fact the full Birther fiasco and the previous southern white attitude. You FAIL MISERABLY AT each and every turn. pass back to hurry Limbaugh and ask for greater poor talking factors.

I think the guys with experience are messing everything up anyways, so why not give a newbie a chance...maybe he can offer a new perspective. Obama is as American as you and I are, so don't confuse the issue....he even has some good things to say if you can actually put your prejudices aside and listen.

It's heartbreaking to see there are still Americans who judge people by their race, color, religion, or even by name. You should look for other criteria in voting for someone. Read your Constitution and the Declaration of Independence first.

I am considering voting for Obama. I am not ready to commit that vote yet though. Too soon to decide.
I am sad to see that there are people out there who do not vote.
