Lack of morales I guess is #1. Plus we have it so easy for the most part we have to invent things to be angry about. No one appreciates what they have anymore. We are a bunch of spoiled brats, that can't be satisfied. Even the poorist among us for the most part have basic comforts as well as freedoms that are taken for granted. You all have a heater in the winter and air conditioning in the summer and more food then you need. And more toys to waste time on (like me sitting in my warm house writing on my pc) then 80% of other countries.Yet we are not happy. We have too much, too many things take up our time then what's really important like being kind to each other helping our neighbors etc. We can drive accross the whole country without having to show our papers like other countries. Yet we are constantly bitching and whining about how our government is surpresing our rights because we heard it on cspan and it sounds good. Crime is out of hand because of lunitic judges and people like the ACLU. I think the U.S. in on a downward spiral that will not turn itself around. I hate to be pesimistic but I see it happening more each day. sorry I don't have a magic wand to wave and make everything better but I don't. In history all the greatest nations always fell from the inside and in about 200 years so we're right on track to repeat history yet again.

Societies problems are most often rooted in racism , greed and indifference to humanity , if you ask me . That seems to be at the core of most problems . If maybe we can redirect our children in this regard . Then the human race stands a chance . Us old people are hopeless to bring about this change./ Oh I forgot - Get rid of Bush and Cheney

The problem with our society is that every one of feel that we live in the midst one problem or the other. Society is an amalgamation individuals and groups. Individuals and groups do not other individuals or other groups. The result is mistrust or distrust, distress, deceitfulness and tension. The message of love and kindness have relevance even to-day.
