The vast majority of soldiers are conservatives, even those who come from poor families. We really don't need Liberal crocodile tears pretending to care about our family members when we know that you really celebrate when you hear about their deaths.

These answers, many of them, show how naive Liberals truly are. Liberals never want wars to end for the sake of soldiers, they want them to end for the sake of their own politics.

Moreover, to the idiot below, soldiers are supposed to take civilian orders--it's their duty you nitwit. Soldiers aren't elected.

I think sometimes that some people would be happier if President Bush's strategy in Iraq failed then if it succeeded. They don't really care about the soldiers I think, but they are so blinded by hatred that they look for any excuse to blame something on the President. Of course, not all liberals are like that but it seems difficult to find one who's not.

Soldiers are not supposed to fight in any ol' war the "Decider" makes up. Soldiers are not supposed to die to make the rich even richer. Soldiers are supposed to defend and protect--not carry out "private" missions to boost Haliburton's profits!

You must be very young and naive to think that most soldiers are conservatives. Many young people go into the service to get an education, or because there are NO JOBS (Thank you Mr. I-ran-the-budget-right-into-the-ground Bush) Many go in because of patriotism (but still don't want to die for nothing!) None of these reasons is intrinsically conservative.

You need to keep your nose out of y tears! I cried real tears during Viet Nam and I do now! Many vets feel the same way.

I would never celebrate the death of anyone!! (Unlike you who probably celebrated Saddam's death, and will throw a party when Fidel Castro dies)

While your right a majority of soldiers are conservatives they are not all conservatives we have liberal soldiers. Anybody who thinks that any American soldiers death would be celebrated by any American is just one very very sick person who needs to seek help.

ALL men are created equal. George W. Bush's life is not "more equal" than a troop's life. He had no right to send men to die over his own personal resentment and fear of Saddam Hussein.

they want it to end so they can show republicans that they where right, and also because they hate every dicision a republican makes. think about it, if clinton was still in office democrats would be supporting the war. as for the question i bleive that yes they do see soldier casualties as a personal gain and the deaths of other people in the war. i would hope they didnt celibrate about the deaths.
